Compactflash for HP Photosmart C30

I'm buying compactflash for my aunt's camera. Newegg has it for $28.99.

 

Is compactflash compactflash, or are there different types. I'd hate to order the wrong thing especially since I'm doing it online.

Pretty much any CompactFlash card, including the one at Newegg, would work with the camera.

 

The only thing I'd be concerned with is that with a camera that old, there may be a maximum card size that it supports. I did a quick search but couldn't find that info if it actually exists.

Thanks so much for the information. I actually did find another site that said something about the 256 being the largest size available or something like that. I'm going to go back to Newegg.com and see what they have.

I would stick with 256MB just in case, definitely nothing larger than 512MB.

I ended up going with the 128MB. 256 would have probably been okay, too, but no sense paying for something she won't use even if it is only a few extra dollars. (One of the guys that had put in a review had an older model camera and after 130MB, the 256 card wouldn't accept anymore pics, so that was one of my deciding factors.) Anyway, she got the 128 for $12.53 ($17.xx w/shipping) and she's pleased.
