Just consider that DVD's, like VHS's, will go away before too long for 2 reasons... non-physical media (downloads) and Blu-ray HD discs. Just keep that in mind when you look for a DVD player... may not want to put so much in it.

I am getting it for my toddler to watch in the car during road trips so I am not putting too much effort into this. I'm sure he will break it ASAP haha. I just want to pick one up on BF in whatever store has the best deal that I am already going to be in.

In that case I would get the cheapest one.

 

You can get cases for them and fix the case to the back of a seat and he wouldnt be able to touch it.

I got a RCA brand at Walmart 4 years ago and it still works fine. Paid 49.00 on bfriday sale. Targets ad has the same one on sale for bfriday. Im sure Walmart will have them also. The coby dual player has bad reviews.

I have a 3yr old and was planning 2 long car trips this summer. i bought one for $99 at best buy and paid for an extra warrenty (that covers accidental breaking). still works great and not broken (yet). Not really a deal, but the reviews were good and so far worth the money. It got me through both trips happily!

I bought the Venturer for $49 a couple of years ago and my dd9 drops it, etc. it still works great.
