ups^ Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 I'm really liking this antenna. It picks up HD stations pretty well in my apartment.
i-bystander Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Can one of you guys explain how these things work? I've been thinking about getting one. I have cable... how would this add to/supplement my existing set-up?

Brad Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 You need an antenna (like this one) and either an HDTV with built-in HD (ATSC) tuner or a set-top HDTV tuner (around $200).
Big Smooth Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 I wish the set-top tuners would drop even further in price. Then I would really think about getting satellite TV instead of cable. Right now it's still way more cost effective to get local channels in HD through the cable company if your TV is only HD-ready.
