I had rented Boom Blox but i have bought it and put it in my closet for DD9 for christmas it was good she has been begging for it since I rented it..

My ds has boom blox and boom blox 2, loves it and plays it everyday for hours if you let him. His brother however hates it. It is more of a building and smash it type of game.

So do you guys think it is a little too young for my kids. I have a DS13 (14 in December) and DD11.

Boomblox maybe a lil young for an 11 and 14 year old. My 8 yr old got bored with it after two hours as a rental.

 

Haven't played BB2 or Charmgirls club. And if your kids like the Outdoor challenge, it's a good chance they'll like Extreme Challenge.

Oh Yeah.....I am all for renting games. There have been many that have been eliminated from birthday and Christmas lists.

Boom Blox is like a cross between tetris and jenga! LOL My nine yr old has had it for a year and LOVES IT! We all fight over whos playing it... :) We havent played the others. I would recommend BB... quite addictive for all ages, very colorful, cute little critters in it, nice themes for each level.
