mabennett Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 My son told me he wants an electric scooter from santa this year. OUCH!!! I wasn't expecting such a high dollar gift from Santa. Any deals out there??TIA
mom2monkiesx3 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Kmart has had the Razor electric scooters in the ad the last couple of weeks so keep an eye out for it there..and if it helps any they have layaway :) Be sure to budget for a helmet!!!
teebee Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 My little girl has the razor scooter. She got it last year from Santa and loves it!!! She rides it everyday she can. Well worth the money. We got it from walmart, I can't remember the price though, sorry.
mom2monkiesx3 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Razor e100 for 99.99 at kmart this week
nikkilugi Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 We got the Razor 150 from Wal-Mart last year and I think the price was $99 each. I could never find an electric scooter at KMart - especially on sale just like always at our KMart. The boys really love the scooters :)
littlesdcen Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 We have the razor 150. Bought it at walmart for 99. 00 last year.
mabennett Posted October 27, 2009 Author Posted October 27, 2009 can you tell me the difference between the e100 and the 150? TIA
littlesdcen Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 The 150 has a bigger electric motor and had better reviews.
Elmck Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Sports Authority has had them on sale too for BF in previous years
mabennett Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 okay I went to KMART and bought the last one they had. our kmart rarely has anything they advertise so i figured i might as well buy it and save it so if i can't find a better deal, ds will have one and if i find a better deal i'll return it. you guys didn't tell me it was so heavy!!!:) i've been doing the biggest loser boot camp video and i'm soooooooooo sore. i picked that box up and nearly went flying over the cart!!! my arms, legs, every muscle in my body is screaming from the torture bob has been inflicting on my body....but i somehow managed for the sake of my children....blah blah blah:):):):)
krissy077 Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 any reccomendations on what size razor to get 7 and 8 year old boys. e100, e200, or e300? i know they're 10mph, 12mph, and 15mph. wondering what they can handle??
nikkilugi Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 My sons were 7 and 8 last Christmas and we did the e150's from Wal-Mart. They handle them with no problems at all. I probably would have been comfortable getting them the e200 as well but the boys go balls to the wall most of the time and the thought of the 300 scares the crud out of me. The 150 from Wal-Mart is a great price and the motor is a bit more powerful than the e100.
mabennett Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 i found an e175 at target for 109.xx Do the "experts" out there think this is a bettter model than the e100 i found at kmart???? target has the e100 for 149.xx
KrystalMae1231 Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 i found an e175 at target for 109.xx Do the "experts" out there think this is a bettter model than the e100 i found at kmart???? target has the e100 for 149.xxthe E175 are just a bigger faster model. It's more for children 12 and up. where as the E100 and E150 are for kids 8 and up. That's the difference in the E1?? you can get on razor.com and look at all the specs. 109.00 is a good price for the E175. Sears will have the E100 on BF for 89.99 which is what I got my DD8 for. Hope that helps.
mabennett Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 it helps a bunch. thanks for the website too because i looked on target and couldn't really tell the difference. read the reviews and they sounded about the same as well.
debbieshops2003 Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 My mom bought these for my boys 9 and 7. She got them at Target for $89.00 each. The boys love them. She bought one for my 9 year old for his birthday in March and then my 7 year old wanted one for his birthday in May. It was right before his birthday in May that we found them for $89.00 each at Target. She was able to return the one she got for $109.00. The boys love them!!! They take a little bit to get used to. My boys always wear helmets but this summer my 7 year old turned too tight and the scotter side clipped the ground and he fell. But he still loves his scooter...his biggest concern was....is it scratched???
mabennett Posted October 30, 2009 Author Posted October 30, 2009 you got the e175 for 89?? that's a great price. i kept both thinking i may have to give both ds's one so they don't fight. the younger ds wants it but the older ds will take it from him:) that happened last year with the ripstick.
mabennett Posted October 31, 2009 Author Posted October 31, 2009 i found the e150 at walmart for 99.xx. now i'm taking back the e100 from kmart:) my hubby LOVES this....it lets him get some exercise climbing up and down the attick ladder with a heavy box just for 10 bucks!! :):)
debbieshops2003 Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 (edited) you got the e175 for 89?? that's a great price. i kept both thinking i may have to give both ds's one so they don't fight. the younger ds wants it but the older ds will take it from him:) that happened last year with the ripstick.Yes...my boys got the E175 for $89.00. The boys love them...you definitely want two. The E100 is supposed to be $89.00 at Sears on Black Friday. It looks like they'll have red or pink. I'm not sure what the difference is. I think the 100 series is the same. but I'm not 100% sure. I know they have the E100, E150 and E175. Edited November 6, 2009 by debbieshops2003
krissy077 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 anyone have thoughts about seated or not seated? i'm debating between the razor not seated and the ezip-400 seated. help!? the reviews are pretty much the same. just a big price difference!
