flyjar Posted October 26, 2009 Share Posted October 26, 2009 Yes. Soon after getting married, I convinced my wife to buy our own gifts. We have a dollar amount limit and we let the other person know what were are getting. It's just much easier this way and you don't have to return things. We have a list for each other and get a few extra surprises from that list. We then wrap each others gifts and end up with a bunch of boxes that look very similar (DVDs & clothing) so the surprise comes Christmas morning.
