dell ac adapter

I noticed tonight that I have a bad spot on my AC power adapter cord. I need to buy a replacement immediately. I have looked at Dell.com and cannot find the part. I have an Inspiron 1000 and the part number is n5825 and it is PA-16 family. If there is a good deal out there I am not set on purchasing it from Dell, so if you find a good deal let me know.

Unfortunately there are no Dell.com coupons for such small amounts, so I would probably try eBay.com.

 

I've purchased an IBM A/C adapter from eBay before for a co-worker, worked just fine.

 

I found two A/C adapters on Dell.com but I'm not sure if either is compatible with your laptop:

I could not figure out which cord it was so I finally called Dell. Stupid me...it is still under warranty since I just bought it in November...they are sending me one for free. Should be here in 2 days.

 

I love Dell!
