I have a hardware-related question. I too have been considering going Roku or Smart Blu-Ray player. However my TV (a nice 56-inch Toshiba) is old enough that it doesn't have HDMI inputs. Does this preclude me from going the Roku/Blu-Ray route? If so, then I guess I need to go look at TV's as well.....

Any thoughts on what the best purchase is out there for a 40-46inch tv in the $500 range. I was looking at the Insignia at Best Buy, but I'd REALLY rather not have to go to Best Buy to get it. 720p is fine, because I don't use blu-ray. And I'm thinking plasma. So many to choose from.....

I lucked out. I got the original 3 sweaters for $30 (plus the scarf and free shipping), and the gift card that was included in the package was $100! So today the wife and I spent some time on the website and got another beautiful sweater, 2 tee-shirts, and a pair of pants. With the use of some of the other codes, I got those things shipped for a total of $73. So I've still got $27 left to spend with those guys!!!! It's been a good couple of days. God Bless this site!!!

No kidding. Works out great for everyone. Now I can help my wife feel even sexier, and of course we both benefit from that......

BTW if you want to check the value of the card, go all the way through the purchase process, and put the gift card number and pin in on the last page, and click "apply". I had a $28 item in the cart, and when I applied it, it showed me that I had $72 remaining on the card. Then, you just click "remove" right next to where you applied the codes and it takes it back off.

I did actually see the ones at Kohls but I don't think they had the right size. I don't think an XXL would work for her..... LOL

Out in the NW we have Fred Meyers who will occsionally print a 25% off any toy coupon. It does not exclude Legos. I used it last week to pick up a big Star Wars lego set for around 40% off regular price since it was already on sale. FWIW

My 13 year old girl wants a Tony Romo jersey (doesn't have to be top of the line). She'd be a small in adult. Gracias

I work for my St. Vincent dePaul group at my church. We asked people to bring extra candy that they did not give away to donate to St. Vincent dePaul. We can give it out with the weekly food deliveries.
