Now, had you stated that you constantly buy things from other stores and then return them to Wal-Mart, that would be a different story.
I know someone who practically shops this way all the time. At all kinds of stores. I understand doing it once in a while(because I don't like online returns either), but it kinda gives me agiada. I've been in a store when she's done it and kept expecting security to walk up or sirens to blare or something.

I hope this is not a repost. I did look for this particular deal and did not find it..
This is for $10 off $99 or more. You must go through the link to get the $10 off. Also, there's a blue box on the page that says "Steals of the week", and leads to coupons for more Overstock deals. But be aware that once you click on the "Steals" button, you are not able to hit the Back button. At least, I can't. But I suppose you could come back to this thread and use this link again.

My husband and I were shopping for sleeping bags and a tent for the high desert(it gets cold there at night!), and after much looking, and initially thinking we'd end up with a Coleman or similar well-known brand, opted for the orange Sleep Cell 40x90 adult sleeping bag at WalMart(try Kmart as well). I looked for a pic on the WM site, but I guess they only sell them in store. Anyway, they were 18 bucks each, good for 30*F, and has side pockets you can unzip if you get too hot. We're really surprised for that price how great they are!
-
Absolutely. My husband has one that he uses as a GSP when we go to the desert, as well as an art tablet. (it's the one where you can move the top screen around). Whereas, when we purchaed an HP for our daughter she immediately had problems with it. Starting with the 3 hours it took my husband to remove all the bundle garbage it came with. Compared to his Acer, with had NONE. :)

ahh, that's not true. You can't use the points online. You can check on how many points you have online but you can't use them online. The cashier either didn't understand your question or just didn't know
From the FAQ section of bordersrewards.com (notice bordersrewards, there's a bordersreward.com which has nothing to do with the actual company)
Q: Can I earn or redeem rewards with purchases made at www.borders.com or www.waldenbooks.com?
A: Not at this time. Rewards currently can be earned and redeemed only at our physical stores.
It figures. Yeesh. Thanks for FYI.

I used the 30% off coupon recently. I also signed up for the Rewards Card-free. I asked specifically if I could use the points online, and the cashier said yes. I also got another 30% off coupon with my receipt.

I haven't had a great incentive to use GC. None of the places using it have anything I want. And honestly, I just knew there was going to be problems like the ones stated. This is also why I probably won't be using it. One less place that has my CC number and all that.
I'd like to hear more why people think this may be better than PayPal; besides the obvious % off some items GC allows. I use PP but am not a die-hard fan of it. I didn't want to use it either to begin with. But it's been fine all these years for me. Maybe GC will turn out to be a good thing...

Here is the link for the 15th-18th
Ok, trying to type in a link that does work doesn't help. So just right click on this link(points to above link) and cut and paste the the second http address..the one ending in .pdf. That worked for me.
Also, this is only good in a few States...

I just called the one here in New Jersey and the poor girl sounded like she thought I was a nut. They are not going out of business and she was not aware that any of their other stores were. Oh well, I really would have loved to hit that sale, dh & 4 dd's are all avid readers.
Perfectly valid question. When every rack/wall/display stand in the entire store has not one, but several large signs that say "30% Off All Merchandise in the Store" printed on bright yellow and bright orange paper, and about 20% of their inventory is gone, I wondered if they were going out of business as well!
-
I did not think to ask if it was a national closing or just that store. Right now everything is 40% off. Even the calenders that have for 2007, found some nice gifts. You might check with your store.
Wow, then it's not just the one in my mall. You're lucky, I got 30% off. I'm really not surprised they're closing. The one in my mall was small and didn't have that great a selection anymore.

I'd be careful with any supposed eBay or PayPal codes. Yes, both sites do have them, but as far as I know you have to be an ebay and/or PayPal member; and they are usually item specific. Also site specific. You might want to ask about this on the ebay forums: http://pages.ebay.com/community/boards/index.html

Ooops. I was so lightheaded aftering spending some time on that website that I posted this in the wrong spot.
Mods, can you move this to the lounge?

Sorry, jb082278, nothing personal but I'm such a skeptic about anything on the Internet that I had to look this one up on Snopes. Turns out, it's true! Short explanation, it's a paid-for-by-advertisers service: http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/nothing/free411.asp
This is going in my phone right now. Thank you very much. :)

I absolutely love my mixer, but would I really use this grinder?
I believe you would. A grinder can be used for SO many things. I think it's one of those items you never knew you needed until you get it.

I never understand why cashiers get upset over discounts. They're getting paid anyway!

A neighbor of mine is fully blind, but he's amazing at flying different kinds of kites in the field across the street. He's also an expert on wind and air quality. He told me he can tell through his hands and the string. He even built a homemade 'copter out of some metal, tape and a piece of Kleenex box that technically is not supposed to be able to fly. He really enjoys just sitting there flying a kite..sometimes for an hour at a time. I think it gives him back some control he's lost in his life by being blind and having to depend on others.

Thank you Bestbuy7, for the correct url.

Sorry, I think because I'm new it won't let me type the entire url. I'm glad it worked for you though. Claire's is great for stocking stuffers. :)
