GEEZ where do you live? There was about 300 in line at kohls, around 150 at Belks. and I'd say a 200 at Target. I seemed to show up at each store as the doors were opening and was last in line LOL. No one here pushes or shoves or takes things out of others hands, here we all walked in in a orderly manner.. everyone tries to help each other actually. I live in Tennessee. maybe you should shop in Johnson city, Tennessee next year.

Hey I live about an hour from JC! Its nice to see someone "local" on here!

 

I didn't see much I wanted this year. Jumped online at WM around 3:15 and ordered five or six things. My dad went to our B&M. They must have started early because he arrived at 4:30 and everything was GONE.....He was soooo mad. All the TV's were gone and that was what he was after... He went to another WM about 15 minutes away and got everything he needed.

[So far... the deals suck...]

So far my plans for Black Friday.....Get up.....boot up....shop...drink some coffee....and whine to my DH because ALL THE DEALS SUCK! I have only found one or two things that my little girl wants and the prices aren't even THAT great......booo hoooo

[After shopping rituals]

My mom and Dad keeps my lil baby girl and my dh and I go out shopping. We live less than 5minutes from our super wal mart so we don't leave the house until 4:30 and enter a nice cozy warm store (waaaay better than 2000 thru 2004 when we didn't have a supercenter) Get all of our stuff and go to a few other stores then we head out for a nice "just the two of us and we survived the MADHOUSE breakfast! **LOL**

 

Then it just depends on how tired we are. We may come home and wrap our stuff then go get Zoe or we may take a nap.

 

We usually go pick Zoe up around 1 to 2 p.m and then take her out and about to see all the "hustle" of the offical Christmas season. (She is three years old)

Hmmm...Favorite black friday moments? Well there is 2003 when my husband and I were first married and I made him go with me. SWORE HE WOULD NEVER GO BACK.

 

2004 I was 8 months pregnant. Did I go? Absolutly! Waited out side in FREEZING weather while my lil one kicked the crap out of my bladder. Managed to get EVERYTHING I wanted that year including a TV. Stood in check out line for 2 1/2 hours having contractions. DH swore he would not go back.

 

2005 Did not get to go due to work/family issues.

 

2006 Took DH left the lil one with my mom and dad. Manged to get everything I wanted. DH swore he wouldn't go back.

 

Yesterday....DH asked where we were starting! **LOL** LOVE IT!

Seven years ago I worked at Wal-Mart as a CSM. We had a fight to break out at a sister store (about 15 minutes away) due to a lady reaching in and taking a TV out of another customers cart and trying to put it in hers. BIG MESS because of a rude person!
