DANG! I go EVERY year and kept looking for it on here but didn't see it last time I was on that thread! Now I'm going to have to get up early!
-
I've NEVER seen it picked over so early! I took a super early lunch and was shocked. It was a smash and grab! I too saw a Target employee with a HUGE cart of stuff. Luckily I didn't want a whole lot since my kiddo is getting older, but there was one thing I really wanted and missed out on...the Snow White and 7 Dwarfs set. I know this is a long shot, but if anyone sees one and is willing to grab it for me, I'm in Olathe/Overland Park area...I will pay to have it shipped!!!

Overland park kansas stores toys are 75 off today.
This is misleading because not all of them are! I went to two during my lunch hour and both stores were still at 50%. I went to SuperTarget on Blue Valley Pkwy and the one on 151st.
-
I went to the Target on 135th and state line, and also the one in Belton. They both are 75% and still had tons of stuff left. I got pokemon cards, pet shop cards, wrapping paper, sharpies, and many misc. other items for $1 and under. I finally got me a tree! It was the 6' colorado pine for 17. A great day at Target.
Hey, I got the same one! It's not our main tree, I got that 75% off a few years ago. :) But I decided this year I want a Disney only tree so this is the one I got. They had a bunch of really nice trees! Couldn't believe how many they had left. A bunch of one particular one didn't have any lights....they had a ton of those.
-
I went to a different Target during lunch and it was 75% off! For those of you in KC, it was the one at 151st and Hwy 69. Lots of stuff left when I was there at 11:00. Lots of trees, gift bags, stocking, ornaments…just a bunch of stuff! The one I went to this morning that was 50% off was the SuperTarget in Overland Park.

I'm shocked that you still have trees in the stores. Ours went 50% off over a week before Christmas and sold out then.[/quote
I went to one yesterday and was shocked at how many they had! That one is further from work so that's why I'm not there. We have a bunch of Targets though

Sitting outside of one right now. I soooo hope I'm not wasting my time because I'm showing up late to work just so I can get a new tree

At midnight I went onto Kohls website to begin my BF shopping (just as I did last year) but heavy traffic bogged it down, then it appeared to have crashed. I gave up and rushed to Walmart. I was the first one there last year at 2am but not this year! It wasn't packed but there were a lot of people there. I jumped in line for the $198 laptop and boyfried got in line for the 32" TV. I was 10th way back in the baby section and he 2nd in line just next to me in the frozen goods. Around 1:00 an employee came around to count our line...there was 14 of us and they only had 14 computers! Most of the section was already roped off, but they roped off the end of the line, put up do not enter signs and had employees stationed all around telling others that the computers were already spoken for! We all took turns going out and getting stuff from around the store. You could go ahead and pick up virtually everything! I got tons of DVDs, a couple of Wii games, digi pic frame, jammies, coffee pot, picture frames, hoodies, and track suit for DD. Boyfriends line did the same thing but they were not roped off. They came out around 4am and gave us all tickets, then at 5am gave us our laptops in the calmest line I've ever seen. But as soon as I was out of that baby section, the place was a nightmare! I was at a huge disadvantage having a cart but finally made it up to the front and waited about 45 min. in line. Last year I found an empty lane and was out in minutes! The place was a mad house and I'm so thankful that I was around such a nice bunch of people so I could get everything else I needed well before 5am.
We were going to try to swing by Target afterwards but it would have taken us an hour just to get into the store because of the insane amount of traffic. So we decided to come home and go to bed. Not the funnest of all my BF's but we got everything (and more!) that we were after so I can't complain too much!
Oh, forgot to mention, I tried to buy the stuff on Kohls website while waiting at Walmart but my phone died so when I got to the car, I put it on the charger and made my purchases on the way to Target. Keeping my fingers crossed that the order doesn't get cancelled and I get everything I ordered!

I'm in line right now for the cheap computer and boyfriend is in line for the 32" TV. I'm 10th in line and he's 2nd. They cut our line off at 14 and roped off the area since 14 was all they had. We are all taking turned getting other items around the store. Everything for the most part is out and up for grabs! I've already grabbed all the dvds I wanted, digi pic frame, and jammies. Just waiting for 5am for our big items. Nothing will ring up until 5am they said.

I'm wondering how many people are at Walmart right now. We are leaving soon but I'm starting to freak out that I'm too late. I'm going to a Walmart on the opposite side of town from where all the other shopping is so that should help. I was pretty much the first one there last year around 2:00.
-
We are going after the 32" TV and the laptop. Not sure what time we are getting there though. Last year we got there at 2:00 and we were the first ones there. We'll probably be there earlier this year though.

I agree with many of you. Kohls "sales" are a joke. Their reg. price is WAY overpriced so when they put it on "sale" it's actually just the normal price. And there's always a "sale" going on. I do like Kohls but not because of their prices, I just like the merchandise. I went on BF years ago and it took FOREVER to get through the line. My mom went a few years later and it was the same. Neither have us have ever or will ever go back on BF. HOWEVER, having said that, last year I stayed up till midnight and got a bunch of things and got some GREAT prices! Not because the sales price was great but because of the rebates and $10 Kohls cash I earned. The rebates work great in this situation! I really hadn't planned on getting anything online this year but now that the extra 15% off coupon came out, I may have to find some things! :)

I got the same email!!
-
UGH, I had the same thing happen to me. They were ringing up $29.99 instead of $24.99. I'm not going to even get into the whole ordeal, but they were super nice and the guy adjusted it for me...but it took like 20 minutes. And they had to give the $10 back on a gift card.
-
It looks like you can do this deal by buying 2 Santa Buddies. You don't have to only buy Snow White. I only say this because we are getting 1 for DD and 1 for neice. We bought Snow White the week it came out.
So $24.99 x 2 = $49.98
Santa Buddies coupons x 2 = (20.00)
Bundle deal = (8.00)
= $21.98 + $10 GC
I still have $8.00 from the last $10 GC deal they had (I think it was Up...I never could find Monsters Inc at Target). So I should be OOP $13.98 for the 2 movies and get a $10 off GC!

This too is my 2nd year of not going to BB.

Credit cards for cash back and we always pay it in full so we don't pay interest! Always used my Discover in the past but now we have a Disney Visa and use it to earn points towards our next Disney World vacation. I have a couple of hundred dollars in points on my Discover that I will cash in for gift cards for the extra bonus. We use cc's for everything with one exception. Our checking account earns 4% interest if we use our debit card 12x in the month. So our rule is anything under $10 gets put on debit card until we hit 12 for the month, everything else goes on cc. I LOVE earning free money just for using credit!

If you go to the same coupon site and print out the $5 off Mr. Potato Head Spuds, you can get the Christmas Tater Head at Target for $1.99 as well! They are $6.99-$5.00 coupon=$1.99. You can find it with the Christmas stuff.

I'll be in Springfield MO!

I got one of these about a month and a half ago. My old one broke a while back and I was too cheap to buy another. I picked this up for $60 at Costco and I'm SOOO glad I did! I forgot just how wonderful they were!
