in 2005
a friend of mine was in target in MD today talked to an employee and was told that the items on sale BF are scanning at the BF prices now........just an FYI for those who might have other stores to get to BF -
some rebates say ORIGINAL reciept, in the past i have sent in copies and have had no problem but asking for duplicate reciepts is a plus should be no prob for them to do that!
-
so glad to hear things will work out for you
at least if you get SOME on sale on BF you will get SOME of your money back !!! way to pull through hubby...........we may complain about them all year but they usually come through in a pinch
-
with the time difference between here and the east coast I prolly will not get much will do a wake up call to my daughters around 10 pm my time ( I know the oldest will prolly not sleep) then will have to call them a few times while they are in line to see if they are freezing so i can rub it in how warm it is here i think maybe bout midnight i will take the puppy for a ride and see if any lines are forming ( alot of ppl i talked to last year about BF had no clue what i was talking about ) then maybe just maybe i'll sleep for an hour or so...........however because of the time diff I have told my daughter she can call me and lemme know if she was not able to get what she was heading for when she is done stores will be just opening here :)

try to remember to have your keys in your hand before you exit the stores that way you do not have to stand at your car and dig for them and keep your eyes like windshield wipers :)

awe soooooooo creative!!!My nephew only wanted cash. We have a $50 grab bag for the neice and nephews and he was my pick so I went to the bank and got 50 brand new singles and taped them together one after the other. I rolled them up and then put them in a decorated tissue box and taped a sign on the first bill that said "pull here". The only thing that showed at first was the sign then he had fun pulling all of the bills out of the box. He loved it.

Buckeyes
http://images.allrecipes.com/site/allrecipes/area/community/userphoto/big/1255.jpg
Original recipe yield: 5 dozen.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
6 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
--------------------------------------------------------
DIRECTIONS:
Blend peanut butter, sugar, butter, and vanilla. (Dough will look dry).
Roll into 1 inch balls and place on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.
Poke a toothpick into the top of each ball (to be used later as the handle for dipping) and chill in freezer until hard (1/2 hour).
Melt chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler (use very low heat, not much hotter than tap water or the chocolate will get grainy. This will take awhile).
Dip frozen peanut butter balls in chocolate holding onto the toothpick. Leave a small portion of peanut butter showing at the top to make them look like Buckeyes.
Put back on the wax paper lined cookie sheet and refrigerate 2 hours.

Harvest Cookies
3/4 cup butter or margerine, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2-3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, beat on high until light and fluffy. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Chill 1 hour or until firm. On a lightly floured surface, roll to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out and using a floured spatula, place cookies on greased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with sugar if desired (or frost baked cookies after they have cooled). Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
