  1. depending on the store... if it says cannot be combined with any other offer... First a doorbuster in considered an offer... and instant saving are considered an offer as well...

Im not saying that all the stores will be that picky but they for sure have the right to. So just be prepared...

    Happy BlackFriday shopping!

  2. Yup, I trust you. I'm saving my $9.99

Any thoughts on whether or not the PNY memory will be around until Saturday so I can use that 10% coupon?

most stores in our area were only getting about 75 of the flashdrives.... im thinkin they will go quick since staples pretty much has one of the better deals on flashdrivses

  3. 9.99 for the Norton? :gdcensored: What happened to FREE after rebate? Sheesh! Guess I'll be sticking to the free online stuff.

I dont get it why people complain when they're getting a fantastic deal and they still complain because they have to actually pay money for it...... i just dont get it.

  4. We wont price match another stores Doorbuster items meaning if its one of the items available for a limited time. All the items that are through that Saturday we will though. This is how most retail stores do their price match policy on black friday

Also... if the staples employee is paying attention those coupons will say may not be combined with any other offer and a price match is considered an offer. You may be able to get away with it some stores but sure as hell not ours. Were going to be very strict to the coupon users.

unfortunately we are a business and we are in it to make money and it hard to do that when half the people get their items for practically free.

  5. One thing to remember is last year Staples had 2 or 3 different versions of the ad. So there could be another version lurking out there somewhere.

I cant tell you this version of the ad is confirmed for the Dallas areas including oklahoma, arkansas, texas and a few staples in other surrounding areas.

the one place to have a different version would be up by our home office

  6. Ya, we can only "speculate" which one it is. We "assume" it's either the HP g60-530US or the HP DV4-1540US. Either one would be a great deal! I did some recon at Staples today and they had both of these on display. I'd take either for $300! ;)

it is possible that it could be those however what staples usually does is they bring in a special model for promotional use only... they done that the past 3 years of me working there thatch what they've done...

My guess is that it will resemble the g60 very much in design...

  7. yea.... unfourtanetly I don't think that staples has the purchasing power because on those high dollar tv items we lose money even selling it at regular price... same thing with computers... so i think that staples has just gotten out of the tv business..... off to best buy i go for a new tv! haha
  8. I heard a rumor that staples will have a HP laptop (i think the g60 series) with 320gb HD 3gb ram, light scribe dvd burner, webcam, and what not for around $299.99 I am trying to confirm this as i also heard that it might have 4gb of ram as well.
