  1. 3 carts full @ an Eastern PA Target this morning. Called around and only one Target within 30 miles was 75%. Had a ton of fun. Got Playmobil Pink Advent for $4.98. Great Deal. A ton of Bratz stuff, snowmaker lodge or something like that. A ton of Barbies (some for DD birthday parties invited to). Mine had a lot of Spy Gear stuff, Mi Jam Drum sticks for $7, Air Hogs for $2.98 and other fun stuff. A room full. I had to try and divide stuff up, and put some away before the kids got home. :)

Went to another Target last night after reading some of the great deals everyone was finding. That Target was still 30%. I am still looking for the shooter fishing rod thing. Reg price $29.99, last night it was $20.99, but hoping for a bit lower. None at the Target I was at today, so hopefully, the Target closer, will mark down to 75% tonight or in the morning.

Strange how some are and some aren't marked to 75% yet. I called and some of the Targets were nice, some said "it's impossible to tell you that over the phone, you will just have to come to the store and see for yourself." OK.

Which ones were you able to check? I'm not sure when I'll make it there, probably not til Sat.

  2. I also noticed something different tonight. When I scanned the game and the Bratz dolls, they came up 0.00 and when I got to the register, they rang up at 0.00 but the cashier saw that and pressed another button and the last clearance price came up. I have never seen that happen before. Always before when something rang up 0.00, they had to call a manager over for a price but tonight the register did it and it rang up at the last clearance price. Has anyone else seen this happen before?

Yes - I just had that happen to me on the NEMO storybook w/ plush toy last week. A few boxes were marked at 75% off, but damaged. The one in good condition I wanted was only marked 50% off. I scanned it, came up 0. So, I took one of the 75% offs w/ me to get that price & she did the same thing to get the most recent price to come up when it scanned 0. I thought it was odd too since I never saw that before.

  3. I have to give a big THANKS to this site!! I've had trouble keeping up the past week or so with posts, just too busy. I had bought the 8pack 75watt bulbs on clearance last week, but when I read the outside, I thought if you "won" a giftcard it would show up at the register (didn't read the small print on the back). So I just put them w/ the others in the basement. Well, after catching up here yesterday, went to the basement to check my bulbs. Turns out I won $100!!!! I never ever have that kind of luck! You can just imagine how ticked I would have been if I didn't open the package til after the expiration date of the card in June & lost out on that money!! So a big thanks to this site that made me go & check mine!!!!
  4. My DD is about the same size as yours & we do have the pink one w/ the butterflies from Target. I haven't checked out their website to see if it's there or not. She really likes hers. One thing I noticed while checking them out there & Babies R Us - check the seat padding. The pink one at Babies R Us had a seam that would have bothered her skinny little legs where the pattern changed & was kind of hard.
  5. Was at Penny's today - they were marking a lot of the kids clothes to final price of $1.97. Got a bunch of sweaters, pants, even a sweatsuit for that price (boy's toddler sizes). Also got him a winter coat w/ snowpants for next winter, reg $69, paid $10.19!! Picked up some jammies that end up being $3-something for next winter - Carter's, 2-piece sets.
  6. I sure hope there's some stuff left when I finally manage to get there. We've had crappy weather the last few days, right now there is about an inch of ice on most roads.

In particular, any train/Thomas sets being found? I'm not worried about stuff like wrapping paper or anything.

Yes - I got the Thomas set - Water tower, or something like that. Creates cool steam on the train, I think 38 pieces. it was $40 down to $20.

  7. It really depends on your child. My son is just over 2 & has been playing w/ them for a while. Loves putting them down the ramps on his fisher price garage.

I can't remember for sure, but I thought I also saw the 20pack of cars for $10 in the TRU ad.

  8. Just got back & they had portable hammocks on sale for 19.99 instead of 79.99 - only the red & green are on sale, not the blue. I just bought DH a blue one last month for his b-day when it was on sale for 59.99 - guess what's going back & who's getting a green one!! I did call him from the store to make sure he wouldn't be offended - said he'd rather have the green anyway! I also picked up a red one for me. We have 2 small kids, so now there won't be any fighting over who's in it!
