    Ok I am NOT skilled at this at all. :confused:

     

    I want to make some and have them turn out well. I have some pictures in photobucket.

    What is the best size I should edit them to to fit on these tags?

    Best size vertical?

    Best horizontal?

     

    Can anybody give me just 3-5 pointers of what is best to do?

    Also, I may want to try a double sided one,

    If I want it to say Love you, or maybe a special date, what

    can I do?

    For adding text to the dogtag, I used MSPaint. I opened the image, added a text box where I wanted it, chose my font, size and color, saved the whole image under a different name and used that image to upload to the dog tag. You can also make an image with just text on MSPaint and save it to upload.

     

    Paint is pretty simple, you don't have to do much to insert text. To make a text box on paint you click on the "A" button on the left hand of the screen and draw your text box where you want it, after that you click inside and start typing. To adjust the text box, you put your pointer on the dots on the side and in the corners of the text box until it turns to a double sided arrow hold the mouse button and drag it in or out to your desired size. To change the text font, color or size, click on the "View" drop down menu and click on "Text Toolbar", and it will pop up so you can choose what you want.

    I know, the best CS could tell me is that it must have been a computer glitch and they are sorry and to keep checking back:mad:. I would not be so upset if I already had a set and wanted to order extra, but I have not been able to even get 1!:no: By the way nawlinslady my father was born & raised and lived most of his life in New Orleans but after Katrina we brought him here w/us in Ohio but after the nasty storm today, he probably is ready to go back!:gdfrozen::gdfrozen:

     

    My father was in the Coast Guard and was stationed in Cleveland for 4 years and he always talked about going home. He hated the cold weather and all the snow. After that, he transfered down here so he could retire. He wouldn't have been happy any place else.

    I am sooo upset I had everything checked out then some error message came up & kicked me out of the site, went back in and not available.:mad::mad::mad::mad: Called CS and nothing is showing under my account, and they could not even look it up! I am just so upset right now I could just cry.:splat::banghead:

     

    I had a similar thing happen to me the other night. It's so aggravating when you're right there and they pull the rug from under you.

    When was it up earlier...guess I missed it too. Are you using your discount codes? I used mvcpickaday for 15% off and mvc4242 for free shipping.

     

    When I got home around 4:00 today, the "add to cart" button was there, but it wouldn't put it in my cart. Now it's in my cart but after the shipping address page it gives me an error. It won't even let me use the codes. That sucks because I just got approved for a kohls card today. Oh well, hopefully next time.

    Is this a good printer? I have an older Lexmark printer that isn't printing well, all of a sudden my paper won't feed anymore, and I'm looking for a new one and this happens to be in my price range.

     

    Just wondering if anyone had anything good or bad to say about this one.

    I have two lexmark printers that won't feed paper anymore. I used to love Lexmark, but lately I've been very disappointed. :no:
