walmart--

the reason there are no specs on this computer deal is because there are about 3 different computers, depending on the store....to my knowledge, the store i am at has two of the systems, and not the other one. so it is either an emachine or i think, a compaq...but then again, may have been HP.

that is the common response walmart associates are told to tell the customers, when something like this happens....basically, the blitz item had been put out, but there is a restriction in the system that will not allow it to be sold or put on layaway.....this is the store's screw up, because they weren't paying attention to what they were stocking. but i do believe all blitz items are restricted through the registers until friday morning. oh, and there is not a recall, just another ploy from walmart.

they are possibly gonna start earlier, depending on if any of the competition is opening earlier, at least in my area, they are.
