Our Wal-mart had all lanes open last night and this morning. I was pleasantly shocked. I got out of the lines faster last night and this morning than I ever did.

That makes sense b/c most of the stuff is "everyday low price" anyway. Oh well, give them an A for effort. A "Z" for execution

They also had one for that price about two months ago (maybe 499? but thinking 449). It was a Pentium Dual Core. I think it may have been a toshiba but i could be wrong. There are two CompUSA's still here and about the same distance from my house (26.5miles). Hope I can get to one of them.

These folks better have a "secret" sale. I can see not going there at all. i've been looking for a good laptop deal. Saw one at Comp USA a while back that was better than these. After reading that article....THAT's what I had been waiting for??? I guess I don't need to worry about going there. Wait until my wife sees that article. Unless there's some "extra" ad put in with the regular ad, I guess BB will see my laptop buying dollars. (would be at staples actually if they had one down here)

I don't see really anything there to make me want to go. I've seen similar prices throughout the year. Kinda sad I guess. Maybe they're waiting to hit us with the sales after BF??

No story but your post made me think of something. I went to two wal-marts and couldn't get one. Later that day I went to a small "out of the way" wal-mart for an errand and there were like 30 of those things WITH the carrying case. Needless to say I got some. haha

That will be one new laptop for you on BF!! And a new monitor for the person that spit out the coffee.
