Stopped in at the Springfield, MO Target today, and noticed they had an additional 30% off womens already reduced clothing. I scanned a few pieces just to make sure, and sure enough, it scanned an additional 30% off the marked price. So many racks of clothes. Lots of shoes 75% off too, mostly summer sandal types.

I have heard a LOT of reports today from people who encountered folks who came in like a flock of locusts, cleared the shelves of the big ticket/popular items like Legos, etc. and loaded $800 worth into trailers in the parking lot.
Which store was this? We started out at Olathe Super Target on 119th at opening. The mob at the door was crazy. Almost got ran over on the way to the Toy Department. People who came in the grocery side were almost running from the other side of the store.
My worst complaint isn't the shoppers, it's the employees. The markdown team is almost globally a very unhappy crew. What is up with that? I'm so disappointed in Target, and how they allow these associates to be so bitter toward customers. Sheesh.

We're on the road this week, so I hit a Target in Indianapolis. They were marking lots of stuff to 50%, but nothing to 75%. A manager was telling some employees to condense the clearance toys to one aisle, so I am guessing next week is the week.

Anyone know if the dance star mickeys will be included in the toy clearence?
Speaking of, since when is Dance Star Mickey $83.99?! I swear he was $59.99 just a few weeks ago. Me thinks they purposely marked him up, so they could clearance him out this summer. A very shady tactic if I do say so myself. I expected better out of Target.

Found some patio furniture 75% off today. It was the last of it's kind, so it was an additional 20% because it was a floor model.
Loveseat 009-00-2705 $49.80 after addl 20%
Coffee Table 009-00-2981 $24.80 after 20%
Both pieces are black metal. The loveseat has blue/green colored cushions. Sitting at Target now waiting for my husband to show up with a bigger vehicle.

Hmmm..the associates in Electronics told me that they haven't made the PS2 in years and that the only way to find games to play would be to find used games as PS3 games are not backwards compatable.
That's the problem with some (NOT ALL) Electronics associates, they don't always know what they are talking about. PS2 games are litterally falling off the shelves at most retailers. The PS2 itself is still able to be purchased direct from Sony, as well as many other places.

Did you have to argue about the Webkinz? They've been ringing up full price here.
Easter Webkinz and Club Penguin have been full price at my stores too.

Saw a new in the box PS2 console, marked down on clearance from $99.99 to $49.99. Was told PS3 has been out for maybe 6 years? The guys in electronics say the PS2 console had been sitting in the display case since 2008?!?!? I don't even know if that is possible! Would be pretty difficult to find games. It should be clearanced down more than 50%!.
The PS2 console is still in production, as are the games. PS2 games are not hard to come by, new or used.

We lost our camera, so I am thinking I am going to go to Target today to see if the cameras have FINALLY gotten marked down at our store. They were still 30% off on Friday afternoon.
My question is...for those of you who have gotten clearance cameras recently...what model did you get and do you like it? There are probably 3-4 point and shoot ones at my store (and sadly I think they are all display models) and one Canon Rebel (which would be awesome). Rather than go in blind I wanted to see if anyone had a recommendation of the ones that have been clearanced.
Thanks!
Go for the Canon. One of my stores has the PowerShot model 40% off with 4 left, so I am going to watch those. I have a PowerShot now, and have had zero complaints. My dad has been a professional photographer for 30+ years, and it is the camera he recommended for a basic point and shoot.
I did end up buying the display of the Rebel a weeks ago for $322.xx, but I think it is too much camera for me.

Does any one have a link for the interactive globes?
I dont even know what they are.

The globes were still marked 50% at my store yesterday, but I didn't scan one. I wonder what is up with the INF thing. I sure did want one for the kids for 75% off.

Our diapers are still just 30 off. I went ahead and bought two boxes as there isn't much left! Checking back tomorrow though, hoping I catch some!
Our Luvs Size 3's sold out at 15%. Only thing left at 30% was Luvs Size 5's. I keep telling myself he will be potty trained before we need 5's. Here's to hoping!

I had a similar experience when we bought our 2011 Suburban in January. I was convinced we were going to buy a used 2010, but when we looked at the price of used vs. new with rebates, it was a no brainer.
What kind of vehicle are you looking for? Car, van, truck, sport ute?

From what I understand, there are two different kinds of markdowns. The first are global markdowns, like with the toys after Christmas. Every store had the same toys marked 50% off. The second kind deals with markdown money. Once a month the stores get markdown dollars, and it is up to that store to use the markdown money to further reduce the items that they want. This is why the prices are all over the place, unless it was a global markdown, the managers all spend their markdown dollars in different ways. As for 75% off, it is rare, but I did find Toy Story Karate Buzz Lightyear for $7.00 last week, down from $24.97. They had an endcap full! Guess we know where those markdown dollars went!

I LOVE my Roomba. In fact, it's vacuuming my house right now.
How does it do with pet hair?

I was wondering about that today! My store never made it to 75% off either. They have car seats, changing tables, pack n plays still on the floor unsold at 50% off this week, but today INF.
I noticed that too! I was watching the changing tables for my sister. They have 3 that are marked 30%, but are ringing up INF. I was in a hurry so I couldn't ask anyone about them. Wonder if they will still be there tomorrow.

Our Target was closed yesterday because of snow!

Tell me more about the storage totes. What size, how much, and were there a lot left? Has anyone else seen a good selection?
They were actually ornament storage totes and had the cardboard inserts. They were clear and had green lids with red latch handles on each end. Reg $13.99 down to $3.48. They had two different sizes and people were snatching them up fast! I am going to toss the ornament inserts and use them to store my Christmas decorations. They had at least 3 end caps full when I was there, but people were walking away with carts full of them.

Crazy day at Target today. Saw lots of stuff 75% off. Most of it already mentioned, so I will just recap quickly. This was at Springfield and/or Branson - Kids ball pits, game tables, Sporting Goods including golf club sets, Mens Converse shoes, some Mens and tons of Womens clothing, clear storage totes with red and/or green lids, queen and king size comforter sets, luggage. Changing tables 50% off. Toys that were 50% off last week were still 50% today, board games mostly.
Found a Swiss Gear Overnighter 2 pc (carry on and backpack) set that was orig $99.99 down to $24.98. Open it up and realize one of the 2 pieces (backpack thing) is missing. Took it up to CS and they gave me the carry on for $15. Went to Branson after that and they had the complete 2 pc set for $24.98. So I guess I have a 3 pc set now! Branson also had a silver/black Swiss Gear carry on for 75% off that I left behind. Springfield had several of the Embark luggage sets around 11am.

A friend was at our Target today and called me and told me that the bedding went 75% at our store. I didn't need anything so I didn't run over.
I don't think they have marked down a single thing in my store for the last 2 days. We got a bit of snow on Wednesday night and most of the schools were out on Thursday. Makes me wonder if the markdown team didn't come in. Some board games, all Sporting Goods, and all bedding still 50% off - same as last week. I'm watching some Shabby Chic stuff for my mom, been at 50% for awhile though.

I stopped in to my Target this morning just as they were marking down the Air Hog Thunder Strike (temporary price cut) to $8.74 was $34.99, DPCI 087050192.
Well I'm going to have to go look for that tonight. DS12 just loves that "disposable" Air Hogs stuff!

One thing I found, that I don't remember seeing in other posts, are the Lego Head Lamps. Only saw them at one store.
###204-07-0780 Lego Head Lamp $2.98
And here I was excited when I found the Lego Keychain Flashlights a few weeks ago!

They will do a price adjustment if the item goes on sale, but I am pretty sure that excludes clearance. I would keep an eye out for one of their additional 25% off clearance sales though. It would be an excellent buy for $58. My toddler fell in love when we saw it in the store, but we already have so much Thomas stuff that I hated to add yet another line of trains to the household. But for $58, I would probably reconsider.
-
My store had signs up that said Excludes GeoTrax Christmas Train, the big one that used to be $129.99. May haul one to the scanner for the heck of it.

Yeah, what's up with that? No way to leave feedback for a vendor that waited 3 DAYS to cancel an order? Seems unfair.
