I miss the opening times of the past. Used to be able to get in line for one store before they opened, get what you needed from there and make it to the next one before they opened. Last year our group went out at our normal 3:30am time and still spent the whole day out but the crowds were a lot smaller during the day.

My favorite thing about black Friday is the tradition of it.....it's one day a year where it's just us girls out shopping and having a good time.

Stopped into the Kmart near me today and they had some racks of clothes marked down to 99cents. Also had some stuff marked down to 99 cents in the hats/accessories area. There was alot of clearance throughout the store. Halloween costumes were 50% off

If you want Playmobil there's an online store having a 40% off sale and free shipping after a certain amount. It's called Ridge Road Station. It's very hard to find Playmobil discounted. I made a big nativity scene using the Nativity set and several of those Egyptian tomb sets as houses, and some of the camels with robbers. I got some food items I'd had and made a nice little Bethlehem village!
I live near Ridge Road Stations actual store. It is an awesome store! I forget that they have the online store too it was strange to read it. I did a double take lol.

Check gamestop. If you dont mind a used one they have decent deals on them. I was able to get a preowned one for $99 and they have a deal going with the preowned games buy 2 get 1 free. So I ended up with the psp and 3 games for around 130 plus they gave the 1 year warranty for free. They did have some new ones as well but I dont remember the prices on them sorry.

not sure if anyone else is in the area but the Target in Batavia NY has an extra 30% off all the clearance shoes. They had a bunch of women's shoes and a ton of kids shoes.

made a quick stop today didnt really see too much for the sale. but a heads up to those in the Buffalo NY area...the Old Navy by Boulevard Mall has 50% off the clearance prices right now. I did get some good deals with that...but it is all final sale.

They should go back to the way it used to be where the stores had giveaways for the first so many in the store...and they all didnt open at the same time...and they had the coffee and hot chocolate and donughts for those out in the cold.
...I agree with all the previous posts about having a fun atmosphere in the store and doing little giveaways throughout and having the music playing. And also with having some specials in the afternoon.
