    What's the worst gift you or someone is your family has ever received?

    I kind of hate to even bring this up because since this happened, mine and my step-mom's relationship has gone from terrible to really good, but...

     

    The year I was 16 I had just moved out of my dad and step-mom's house because, well, to be honest, my step-mom and step-sister were awful to me.

     

    The last day of school before Christmas vacation, my step-sister hands me a box and says, "Merry Christmas." I was shocked and opened it right there in the hallway. It was all of the pictures of me that my dad had, ripped to pieces and wrapped up all nice and pretty. I sat on the floor in front of everybody and cried my eyes out. My step-sister's best friend told me that my step-mom had told my step-sister to do this. :(

     

    On Christmas morning, a gift had been sent to my grandparents house for me from my dad and step-mom (she did all the shopping- my dad is clueless about that stuff). My 19 year old sister received about 10 things from them. I had 1. It was a box of 5 little stuffed bears with a $5 sticker on it that was crossed out with a Sharpie. My dad and step-mom are well off. My sister's gifts were probably worth about $500. Then there was me with my bears.

    Awwww this made me want to cry. Glad ya'lls relationship is better now.

    For those of you who are looking for the toys. I found these today at 75% off.

    Found all of these in the toy section and not in the Christmas clearance section.

     

    Christmas theme toys:

     

    1.24-Bratz Little Angels Holiday Special Edition (found several different holiday Bratz toys, but only these were scanning at 75%)

    1.24-Cars Holiday (Lightning McQueen & Ramone are the only two I could find…might be other ones)

    1.24-Doodle Mini Pet

    1.24, .74 & .49-Playdoh (24 pack bag & Candy Cane 10 pack, Holiday Tree & Snowman pack)

    2.49-Cabbage Patch Kids-Lil’ Sprouts

    2.49-Thomas & Friends 3 piece train-Special holiday pack.

    2.49-My Little Pony-Ponyville-A Very Minty Christmas Tree set(also found the little ponies with santa hat in the tube, but these did not ring up as clearance)

    1.24-Disney Royal Nursery (small dolls-Cinderella, Belle & Sleeping Beauty)

    1.24-Holiday pocket Etch A Sketch

    1.24-Dora The Explorer-Holiday Car

    1.24-Go Diego Go-Santa Sleigh

    1.24-Shrek plush dolls: shrek, donkey, gingerbread man, dragon (pink), dragon (grey), puss in boots-They had regular and holiday on these, only holiday were on clearance.

    1.24-Blues Clues Holiday See’n Say Junior

    1.24-Dora the Explorer Holiday See ‘n Say Junior

    1.24-Elmo Holiday See ‘n Say Junior

    All of the above had Christmas theme packaging or on the plush dolls the tags were Christmas themed.

     

    I also found some other non-Christmas theme toys that did not have a clearance sticker, but were 75% off:

    1.24-Barbie Ballerina Doll (found a whole buggy of these…heard a guy say they were sending them back. Grabbed some before he took off with them)

    I just got back from Target for the second time this week. Here's what I got today...

    Method air enhancer .39 cents

    Method plug ins .79 cents

     

    Pillsbury Holiday Funfetti Cake Mix .09 cents

     

    I found the Cascade 80 gel pacs and they scanned at 12.49....so I ask the cashier when I checked out if they would be 90% off since it was a holiday item...she checked with the manager and the manager said she wasn't sure why they weren't scanning at the discount price but I would have to pay full price for them. BUT then she said since she wasn't sure about the price she would go ahead and let me have them at 90% off!!! I told my son to hurry and go get 2 more...so I got 3 of them for 1.25 each!!! Yeah!! :D

     

    And they were also bringing out more Christmas stuff from the back!!
