  1. I ordered a pair of gloves from Macy's on Dec. 2nd., they shipped on Dec. 4th and have been showing lost since Dec. 9th.. Macy's would not do anything about it until today, Dec. 17th, now they will see if they have them still in stock and send them out. I have to wait 48 hours to find out if they have them or not. I'm beyond frustrated. The postal service said they were lost on Dec. 9th but Macy's said to wait until the 17th. Now I may be without a gift, of course, the recipient picked these out so I can't just go get a different pair. My cc was charged on the 2nd., but still no package.

  2. I will be starting this week. I have a tree that I put up in our dinette that is all vintage ornaments, that will go up very, very soon! I will put up my village probably tomorrow. We get a real tree for our family Christmas tree so that won't go up until the 2nd week of December. I used to wait until after Thanksgiving but figured "life is short" and if I enjoy the decorations then I should put them up when I'm ready to enjoy them. I will admit that I am that person that is ready to take everything down on December 26th though. When it's over, it's over 😆

  3. Went to JcPenney one year when they opened at I think 4pm on Thanksgiving. We were there for the $19.99 boots and while standing in the checkout line we were right next to the red bow boxed jewelry that I think at that time was $10 for Black Friday and picked up 3 pieces for my daughter. When we got to the car my son decided he wanted some to give to his gf for Christmas so went back to stand in line for 3 more! Then headed to the inlaws for Thanksgiving and was telling my SIL's about the good deal on those boxes so they went the next day and were told you could only get 1 box for $10, additional were the regular price. Not sure how I lucked out and why the system put them through that way on Thanksgiving but not Black Friday but felt very lucky indeed!

  4. I made this pie on a lark for work after telling my co-workers about it. It is a depression era pie and delicious. I have to admit that I was very skeptical about it but was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. The best part is that it's the easiest pie I have ever made! I made it for Christmas one year just for the laughs, but everyone enjoyed it so I have continued making it. Enjoy!

  5. 1. I always love the JcPenney ad, they have the best deals for me.

    2. I have to work on Black Friday so I will be online shopping.

    3. I have to say that I miss the stores being open on Thanksgiving Day. There were always some good deals that day and it was fun to head out after eating the big meal. The stores seemed to all have a different feeling of anticipation for the next day.
