[the circuit city desktop rebate does not match the unit?]

I also was reviewing circuit city website and I did a side by side comparsion of M1610U1201A vs. M1610U1202A.

 

Why is M1610U1202A cost more than M1610U1201A when M1610U1202A only has pentium D 3.0GHz and M1610U1201A is a dual core 1.6GHz?

And I thought dual core is better.

 

And the strangest thing is that both models are available for purchase as of 11/29 morning, but I just check in the afternoon M1610U1202A has disappeared in circuit city.com

 

I am a newbie at this. Any help would be appreciated.

Just to clarify:

my receipt dated 11/23 showed = am1610u1202a

my rebate from printed at circuit city cashier dated 11/23 showed=am1610u1202a

 

my actual desktop box showed = am1610u1201a

 

 

By submitting the copy of the upc barcode from my actual desktop, do any of you think they would deny me and my buddy?

Did anyone purchase the acer m1610u1202a desktop from circuit city on 11/23?

 

Currently, I just notice the receipt stated "m1610u1202a", but the unit that I have is "m1610u1201a" My buddy also bought one and has the same discrepancy.

 

I am concern circuit city will deny my rebate of $250.00.
