School supplies were being marked down 30% in Kansas City.

One of the stores in KC had a motorized 3 wheeler, pink for $32.xx. It was not a name brand. I was in a hurry and didn't notice much alse. Also, not sure if was listed but the Jewerly stands went 75%.

Here in Kansas City we already had 75% off summer stuff. Fans were 80%. That was last week. Sorry I didn't post. We were all suffering from bad allergies.

Welcome to the city! Stanly is waaayyy south of Zona Rosa. It's 151st Street and 69 Hwy... one of the least shopped Targets in the city (or has been typically anyway). Sure wouldn't have guessed it the morning of the toy sale though. It was busier than anywhere I went that day. I think that store probably had the biggest surplus of toys leftover.
Thanks! I don't think I've shopped at that one. I might have to venture out later today.

Ok, I just moved to K.C. from Chicago and I'm going through withdrawals. I knew where all the stores were without batting an eyelash. I keep hearing about the Stalely store. Can you tell me exactly where that is? Is the new one off of 152, close to Zona Rosa? Thanks! I'm just trying to figure out my way around.

I wonder if it's possible they are making mistakes with scanning a toy here or there and then by default the rest of them are scanning at that price?? The reason I say that is because I found this Thomas Train set for Take-Along trains in the clearance isles the night before 75% clearance started. I was affraid it will be gone 1st thing so I brought it a few isles over and put it on top of some bike helmets. The next morning when I went to retrieve it I was surprised to find that it actually had a red sticker on it with 75% price tag. It was weird (but awesome!!!) that they stickered it but never moved it back to Toys. Well Today I was at another Target and I saw a bunch of them in the REGULAR ISLE with all new toys and at full price!! Now I wonder if they have marked it by mistake or why that Target had it on clearance but this one hadn't?? I understand about diff. Targets having diff. percents off but do they also have certain Toys that get discounted at some Targets but stay at full price at others?? (When I found that set before I moved it, it did have a red tag with 50% price on it. So it was def. a clearance item...)
I do know that the Thomas the Tank that was on clearance has 4 trains in them, but the new ones only have 2. I was surprised about that as well. My sister had to update me.

YES!! I took my kids along with my nieces and they won a ton of stuff! On the Wheel of Wow game, we won 2 webkins, a bookmark, 2 figurines, and a mousepad. They also won some items on the wishing well game along with some candy. All of the games were free! It was worth it!
I did the same thing!! It was well worth it but only in certain stores. Some Hallmarks wanted me to spend $10 on each of the kids in order from them to play any games. My son walked out of one store with 2 webkinz and a bookmark all for free. I will be going back to that Hallmark to shop. They were very kind to us.

I think someone posted about what happened in Tinley Park already. But I'm telling ya'll theres nothing like fate. Hubby and I took our 2 kids up there with the intentions of hitting the Orland Park, Tinley, Matteson Targets. I askd hubby what was up when he passed the exit for Tinley. We LOVE the Tinley one and always look forward to it. He said that he thought maybe we outta go to Orland frst,this was after Isaid I wanted to remind him to look for the step 2 wagon and I wanted to go to Lane Bryant. This was at 10:05
We do our shopping found some goodies, an I went potty. I came out and hubby said theres been a shooting. I was beyond confused. He tells me Lane Bryant. We head out to Tinley and theres 5 helicopters and police lines and what not. TONS of news crews.
Come to find out,5 women were victims of a botchd robbery. Bound , gagged and shot executio style.
I immediately freaked as I have a good friend whom works there.
Turns out she's ok.
The thing is, I dont believe it for a robbery. Lane Bryant robbed??? On a sat? Early in h morning?
My sister and I feel the same way. Who would go to Lane Bryant to rob them, especially when they first open?? My sister said it sounded more like a gang initiation. I think she's right. Make me feel better that the store I go to has armed security in it.

I bought a Schwinn bike for $45.00. It was a men's 26 inch. They had others for $25.00 but I thought I would splurge.

Okay well I am going back to my target in an hour because they had just started doing markdowns on clothes in baby and she said they would do the bigger items after that. I did get her to mark some things while she was standing there. I also went to another one this morning and hit it big. Here is what I got:

The Target in Crestwood, Il had the Roseart Smart Easel for $9.98. IT was 75% off. They also had an art desk for 75% off, also 9.98. The smart easel is a little flimsy but for that price, it might be worth it. I sure would not pay the $40 bucks for it.

Audiovox 10" Portable DVD Player is for 85.00 but when you check availability, it says out of stock. Only one store close to me has 3 in stock. Do you think they'll get more in and is this even worth it?
It also says on the ad list that the items with the blue shopping cart icon you can buy now for the black friday price or lower but I didn't see any. Am I missing something?

They also had marshmallow fluff and Plantars peanuts on clearance along with the halloween stuff. I was quite surprised but I picked some up for the upcoming holidays. Also the chocolate marshmallows were $.49. I'm not sure how they will taste but I thought I would try it.

Last year we started a new tradition. The kids get 4 gifts each, and each represent something. They get something to wear, something to eat, something to read and something to play with. Then the family gets one big present that we all decide on. My kids are 8,7 and 3 now. Its cute even now when they are at the store with me and they are trying to figure out what one gift Santa is going to give to them.

The Target in Lombard, IL had school supplies at 30% off. The one closer to me in Oak Lawn did not, but they are a new store and the clearance there is terrible.

For anyone in the Chicagoland area looking for the train table, I spotted 3 of them at the Crestwood store for 75% off. Most other toys were picked over.

I was in the Springfield, Il. store yesterday and they had most of their swimming stuffed marked down either 30% or 50% off. I got a bunch of goggles for less than $5.00 each. Not sure why they would be marking that stuff down since the season didn't even start yet, but I'm not complaining. They are remodeling that store and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I also found a sprinkler 75%. Got it for $5.00.

Boxes of Pampers 72 count was $13.00 in Chicago. Pretty good deal but thank goodness I don't need to look for those anymore.

Does that mean no more use the driver's license once a year thing? It is still okay as long as you paid by credit card and they can look it up? I'll ask about it, but just curious what they said. I know that TRU similarly changed their policy a while back. I can't really blame them with all the fraud out there.
They will still will do receipt look ups but it will be just like TRU. If you don't have a receipt, you will not be able to return it. I wonder about if you wanted to change the size if they'll even do that?

FYI......Target is once again changing their return policy. The girl today made it a point to tell me when I checked out to save my receipt because they will no longer be taking any returns without a receipt. It's ok by me because I alternate between 2 charge cards so in case I do lose a receipt, they can still look it up.

On the perfume that's on sale for 75% off, do you think they'll still be good at Christmas time? What is the shelf life do you suppose? I'm buying stuff for our school's Christmas Shop and the price is right but I'm not sure how it will smell in a year from now.
