  1. The Disney store doesn't put out an ad, I don't think. You might want to ask a person in the store?

Last year I didn't get an "ad" but I got a flyer. Sorry didn't mean to hint at something that is not going to be. Last year I got a one page flyer advertising %'s off certain items, and the times and such.

  2. Since we don't have a fireplace, we make a 'magic fireplace' (see avatar) here is the link to the directions. http://www.enchantedlearning.com/crafts/christmas/fireplace/

I put Dhs workboots on, press the bottoms in flour and make footsteps to the tree. (Santas footprints are always white b/c of his magic snow from the North Pole.)

We do the cookies, milk, carrots and reindeer food.

I also write each child a letter from Santa that says alot of personal things, things they asked for, etc. It lays on top of their "WOW" gift. We always read our letters before opening the presents.

We have the children make thank you cards that they leave out for santa, thanking him for the gifts. The card is mentioned in his letter.

Oh yeah, the one that gets them every year. We set up the digital camera, and 'try to get a pic of him', Dh then waves something red in front of the camera and setting we have it on just makes a blur of red and you can see the 'magic fireplace in the background. But that blur is Santa b/c he moves so quickly.;)

  3. THANK YOU BRAD!

Every ad is going to be:yay: :clapping: for some and :g_thumbsd:g_zzz: for others. It all depends on what you are on the hunt for that year.

Target makes me happy for the Hannah Montana Dolls, Littlest Pet Shop deals and several other things!!!! YAY, Target will definetly be a stop for me.

  4. Just something to think about for those who beleive WM would "skip" BF.....Why would Brad have gotten the threat of legal action for the early release of the copyrighted BF ad IF THEY WEREN"T HAVING ANY???
  5. Dear Santa,

I am writing you in hopes that you will help me in my need to provide a great Christmas to the loved ones in my family. Although, I myself have no idea what the heck I would do with such a present, my husband (the forever gadget guy) would love to receive the Logitech io2 Digital Pen. I have told him that the kids come first, and by the time that I (the shopaholic mom) finish buying Thomas's and Princesses and Hannah Montana (OH MY!) that there will be little left for a Logitech io2 Digital Pen wanting husband. So he will be stuck being the only guy in the shop whose wife or mom would not buy him great things to make his day easier. Santa, I promise, that if I would be chosen, my husband will put up ALL of our Christmas lights this year to make your landing well lit and safe. I will not only leave you milk and cookies from the kiddies but I will make you whatever it is you would like to eat or drink (after your sleigh ride *wink, wink*)

    Love,

  6. November 1st. Because there are Halloween songs, but no Thanksgiving songs. Plus the 4 gigs of Christmas on my iPod needs to be heard sometime. I can't tell you how awesome the drive around town is with that thing hooked up to the stereo. All Christmas, all the time, no repeats. :)

Me too! As soon as Halloween is over, its time to crank up the Christmas tunes!!!

  7. I hate driving on 30, too, but I just cut thru Old Philadelphia Pike and go down Witmer to come out by Target...won't go any other way!

And you'll have to start making more trips to Rockvale, because their website says they're opening up a Disney Outlet in "Fall 2007." Didn't say exactly when, but I bet it's before Thanksgiving!! Can't wait!

YES!!! I am so excited, I will definetly have to start making trips now.:gdclap: Thanks for the heads up!:yay:

  8. I went to the Disney store today and a bunch of their clearance items were an additional 40% off. I got 4 princess tees each marked 4.99 for 2.99, a backpack for 2.99, long sleeved Princess shirt for 4.99, a pair of lightning mcqueen pjs and a plate set.:gdclap: :gdclap:

My total was less than 24.00, I was so excited. My mom went to another mall to that disney store and got more pjs, a princess toy, and a remote control for about 15.00:yay:

    Just thought I'd share.

  9. Thanksgiving AM I go get a paper to get all the ads. I glance through them b/c I already know what's there (thanks GottaDeal.com).

We head to the ILs for Thanksgiving dinner. After dinner, we exchange names between the kids in the family, then we all sit around and look through the ads, making note of which kids are looking at what.

I come home, make out my master list. Who I need to buy for, what I plan on getting them, where it is. Then I make an individual list for Walmart, Target and then the rest are all together. On walmarts list, I list what I am buying, if I need to price match and if so which page of that ad it is on, so I can just whip out my ads and show the PM to the cashier.

Then my best friend and I sit up all night, looking at the ads, laughing, making plans, drift off in time to get 2 hours of sleep and then get up at 3am, stop at dunkin donuts get coffee and then head to walmart to wait. Usually in line by the blitz items by 330am

  10. Anytime after my DD bday. Her bday is Nov. 10th and I want her to have the house decorated for her day, not Christmas. I have a dec. bday and I used to hate getting bday things in Christmas paper, or Christmas things for my bday. So after her party on the 11th, its fair game to decorate for Christmas.
