So in anyones opinion what is the best deal happening now or gonna happen for a 37-42 inch LCD 1080 under $600? :)
I like the 40" toshiba at hhgregg with 3 hdmi, I was looking at the samsung at walmart but i dont want a bf only tv (only carried for black friday)

I want this TV for my "home" office. I think I will be using it for my Wii or just to watch TV every now and then. My husband says I only need a 32 inch but we have one in the bedroom and it seems so small to me...
ahh just like a woman it's never big enough for you...j/k. The size of the tv depends on how far away from it you will sit. you dont want to be too close or it will seem to pixelate. I think a 40" the closest you want to be to it is 4ft even at that it seems a bit too close to me. My advice buy the 40 change it out for the one in the bedroom at put the 32 in the office.

I went to Best Buy and they said they are NOT honoring ANY Black Friday price and they did have the TV (same model # as Walmart) for like $719.
I want a 40 or 42 in LCD for under 500 is that possible?
I looked on thier website and it wasnt there. maybe they carry it in store but not online? and the 500 might be possible, but you get what you pay for.

Oh crap........my model number is U2-40S5100, did i get ripped off?
nah you didnt get ripped from what I see the only difference is the usb service port. I cant be too sure as im using a compare on crutchfield and they dont list all of the features. on a side note you didnt have to camp out for it.

Every year this comes up, and the posters split between those who say "we earned the tickets and we can do as we please" and those who say "we waited in line longer than the buyers and should get first dibs on any extra tickets". Like years past I say, "get your rumps up there earlier than the sellers if you want a guaranty of availability." You weren't willing to camp out as long, so too bad, you risk not getting an item. Someone else was willing to work harder than you (i.e. stand in line longer) to get something. That's what this country's economic system used to be all about. If you have to have something, get there on Thursday morning before 10 am. Then you'll get it. Saving places (anthing more than 1 for 1 replacement) and line cutting is another matter and should be met with public flogging
I agree with the first part, but the 1 for 1 replacement also causes those who didnt see the first trade whine about someone cutting. There will always be someone that cries thinking they are getting a raw deal.

Every year I'm on here I see people cry about how they would report people for selling vouchers and blah blah blah, but most of the time if you are behind that person you don't even know they are selling them. Aside from that, in previous years I have made friends with people in line around me and picked up extra vouchers for them because they wanted two for kids or whatever. If you plan on lining up, get there earlier and stop crying about who sold what to whom. 90% of you would by a ticket from someone if you had no chance of getting the item so don't act like you are better than anyone else. If you say "I wouldn't buy it no matter what the situation was" you are full of it. One year people were so worked up that friends were talking to me at the front of the line the 90 year old security guard they hired had to ask them to move. I then explained to the complainers that I wasn't even going in for the first sale I was there for the second one; the people felt dumb for getting worked up and shut their mouths. In summary stfu and mind your business and as always the early bird gets the worm. Thank you and have a good day.

Station nice update thanks.
That make this one my choice once again. Good to see that compusa isnt a company that views it as "we made a mistake deal with it".

1gig w/ vista is kinda slim
any idea on what type of ram it takes so we can check the prices out w/ 2 gig. Also anyone know the max expansion on it?
-
Did anyone else notice the difference on the website vs the ad? the 449 once clicked shows 1gig mem not 2gig like the ad states.
I wonder if maybe it was a site typo?

Comp USA??
in 2007
Ok, that makes sense. I appreciate the reply and did notice the missing sub forum which is kind of what sparked my interest.
Thanks again and keep up the great job with the site!

Comp USA??
in 2007
Is there something I'm missing here? There are almost no mentions of the Comp Usa black friday ad on here. Did they pull a wallymart and threaten the lives of children in Darfur or has there been another the name we dare not say kind of thing happen? -
Is there a way around this aside from having a friend buy one for you? I have 2 addresses i can use for the rebates but unfortunatly I couldnt get anyone to get up early on BF and go with me.
Thanks

it is limit 1 per customer according to the ad.
But if i make 2 purchases do i become a new customer?
-
I plan on grabbing 2 400gig externals and a digital cam
Maybe a flash drive too
It's the only store I have my eyes on this year.
I'll probably get there at like 10 or 11pm thanksgiving day just to make sure I can get the things I want.

On these Staples easy rebates is it one per customer / household or is it get all you can while the gettin is good? I'm wondering about same item rebates ie I get 2 cameras can I send 2 rebates or is it because I have sent one for my address I can't get anymore?
TIA,
Joe

Probably like 10 per store minimum. It doesn't show a count in the ad.
