  1. HBO DvD's for sure, the Dynex 9" Digital Picture Frame I will probably grab as well. The Samsung or Envision 22" monitors I'll be getting, not sure which one though I'm most interested in.

i have an 22" envision and i love it, if you go the samsung route make sure the model number starts with s not c, c is outsorced to different company, not as good as the s one.

  2. take chair, entertainment(ipod or portable dvd, something like that), beverages in cooler(large enough to put trash into when done with said beverage: give a hoot, dont pollute), blankie(s), and as far a having a rotation of people, we do it every year. Not your fault if they dont have friends. just dont rotate out and then when time comes all 3 stay, that not very bf line friendly. as far as cutters, i usually wait like 10 seconds for someone else to say something, the colder it is outside the quicker someone is to speak up i have noticed lol. make friends quick with your neighbors, make night go by faster and much easier to rotate out if you have to go potty real bad before your third gets there to "releive" you hehe.
  3. I have a 22 envision and have had no problems with it and it has a very nice picture. mine has dvi also on it though, not sure if they one they have on bf does since it not listed on that chart up above. just my 2cents

  6. You can order extra controllers and nunchuks directly from Nintendo. I ordered mine on a Monday and they arrived on a Wednesday with the upgraded shipping. Just go to the Nintendo website and look for the link to purchase accessories.

We love our Wii and have gotten several family members hooked on it as well. And yes my 12 year old is suffering from Wii shoulder. lol

here is the link to make it easier for you to find.

  7. Jan. 15th Nintendo will release the Wii Play - rather like Sports but a shooting game, etc. instead. It comes with a wii-mote controller for $49.99. You might want to think about doing a preorder on this. Considering how difficult it is to obtain controllers I well imagine this will sell out pretty quickly in local stores.

I did a preorder at Circuit City with free ground shipping.

This has been pushed back to 2/12, cc just has not updated their site info yet. just some fyi for all you nice people on the board.

I got mine reserved as well, and just a side thought, those of you with enough wiimotes, i am sure there be ample amounts of just the game available over at yabe.com for a lot less then as if it still had the wiimote as i am sure they will strip them out and try to sell them seperate.

  8. hey all! went to EB yesterday and the manager told me that they were starting to get a couple Wii everyday so the best bet would be to get there when they open. so you may want to call your local store and see what they say.

this sounds right, as i called my store (as i do everyday LOL) and their truck just came and it had four yesterday. I live about 7 blocks from the store. I jumped in car, drove a little on the excessive speed side, and got there just in time to get #3 of the four. Guy that came in door behind me grabbed the other. Wii were up till 4am playing it, so fun. I hope the rest of you score one soon as well. Good luck and keep hunting.

  9. Hold off before getting that 4th controller! The latter part of January Nintendo is releasing a new game - kind of like the bundled Sports and with it comes a remote for $49.00 Great deal and looks like some fun games on it. I know Duck Hunt is one of the games on the disk which will be a big hit in this house (and released just in time for youngest DD birthday too)

  10. WOW!!! That's a long time to stand in line. I, actually, got in line at 4:30 this morning and Walmart opened up a half hour early, at 6:30, for those of us that were standing in line. I was #2. #3 & 4 came a couple minutes after. The rest came around 5:30 and then there was an unbelievable majority that came just as the store was opening at 7AM and wondering why they had sold out...LOL. Could you believe this people were very upset. I stayed for the store opening at 7AM as they would not sell anything else, not even the controllers before that time. So, I was able to tell these people that it didn't matter if the store opened a half hour early or not, they still had to get in line and they were TOO LATE!!!

How can you expect to get a highly sought after item by getting in line 5 minutes before the store opens??? That's crazy.

One guy lucked out. He got there last after the Wii & PS3 were sold. He complained just for the sake of complaining, asked for the manager's name, said he was reporting the store, blah, blah, blah...he then apologized, hung around a little and then started to leave. The manager called him back and told them they found a PS3 60GB in the back and he got that one!!! Boy, I wish I could have told the people that took the 20GB PS3(there were only 4). They only took that because they were told there were no 60GB.

It was a long time, but we had nothing else to do, and my searching days are limited due to an up coming 5 day trip, soooo. Now i can erase all the store links in my favorites hehe. On a similiar complaining note, the official last guy to get one showed up about 5ish i think, but he was number 10 on the list, store only had 9. he decided to wait anyway just in case. well at 730 this girl comes in and sits down. One of the other "Nintendo Nine" (name i came up with for our group this morning) asked her what number she was. She smiled real big and said 9. We all kinda looked at each other like, hmmmmm. We were told you had to wait in the designated area and blah blah blah. She said oh i have been here all night i was working. Wanna piss 9 tired people off, tell them your an employee and you signed up on the list and just got off at 730. Needless to say, after 4 of us went to the "ringmaster" for the wii's today, miss oh i work here went home without and mr guy who waited like the rest of us got his.
