  1. Can someone help me find a decent deal on a coach purse, I live in upper michigan and we do not have any of those types of stores here. I have to drive a hour just to go to walmart, The nearest mall is 2 /2 hrs away, I can not make the drive as I hurt my back. Any help would be great, Thank you.
  2. I wrap all mine as I get them and put them in my basement closet or in the crawl space, I dont put the bows on til I put them under the tree. ONly other thing you could do is get plastic totes and put the clothes or stuffed toys in or any other things you dont want to smell, that should work.
  3. I took my daughter last year she was 14 , never never never again, I do not feel it is safe for younger kids, I had to watch her and I did not enjoy my shopping. I go into the store with my list and get only those items and she was wanting to look at this and that, it took me twice as long.
  4. Or I may even wait for the microsoft surface.

We'll admit to being a little blown away when Microsoft launched the Surface -- it was an impressively polished tablet that we had heard barely a whisper of leading up to the mysterious launch event. But, there was one thing that we were still left wondering: how much would it cost? Now, with Acer getting all in a huff about competition and Microsoft conceding that some OEMs might be a little upset when this thing ships, we might just have an idea for you. According to an inside source, a session was held at Microsoft's recent TechReady15 conference in which all the launch details were laid out. If things go according to the plan detailed then, the Surface for Windows RT tablet will be launching October 26th -- no surprise there -- at a compelling price of $199.

That MSRP, almost certainly lower than Microsoft's own cost, would line it up against the Nexus 7 and even the Kindle Fire. It would put Windows 8 on the map in a big way and give a lot of people a lot of reason to try out an operating system that is going to feel rather different than previous incarnations. The question is: will it drive enough sales of media and apps for Microsoft to recoup its loss? Or, will companies like Acer put up enough of a fight in the months between now and October to keep Microsoft from undercutting its own partners? We'll find out soon, dear readers

  5. Alright I am confused a bit. My daughter has a ipod touch, school mini laptop and a older kindle. Which tablet should I get her. My son is 12 has none of those above. He wants to get on facebook, utube, play games. Which one for him. Thank you for your help. I am leaning on kindle fire hd for both of them.
  6. Chocolate Mice

    Ingredients

4 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate

    1/3 cup sour cream

    1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs

    1/3 cup chocolate cookie crumbs

    1/3 cup confectioners' sugar

    24 silver dragees decorating candy

    1/4 cup sliced almonds

12 (2 inch) pieces long red vine licorice

    Directions

    1. Melt the chocolate, and combine with sour cream. Stir in 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs. Cover and refrigerate until firm.

    2. Roll by level tablespoonfuls into balls. Mold to a slight point at one end (the nose).

    3. Roll dough in confectioners sugar (for white mice), and in chocolate cookie crumbs (for dark mice). On each mouse, place dragees in appropriate spot for eyes, almond slices for ears, and a licorice string for the tail.

    4. Refrigerate for at least two hours, until firm.
