  1. Watch your orders...mine were backordered both times I've ordered in the past and they kept canceling the orders. I had to call & complain umpteen times to get them to re-order and honor the sale prices after they canceled them. They just canceled my last order again and I was on the phone last night haggling to get it for the sale price again.

Wow, I thought I was the only one this was happening to. I ordered mine and then got an email that they were backordered. It said that if I accept the delay to do nothing and they would ship when they get them. Then 2 weeks later it was canceled. I called and complained also. Still waiting on these from March/April. I guess I should go to the store, but I hate dealing with the people there.

  2. That would be about $3200.....not bad for this time of the year(Available most sail dates from 4/18/09-5/31/09). I do know deposits are only 1/2 price right now ($125). It doesn't say what room. Usually you get $100 OBC with an inside room and more with a veranda room. If you want to go for $1,000 less ($2300 for 3 people, inside room)book for Oct/Nov 2010,lol.

Actually I think it is a bad deal. Right now if you go to the disney website, all the dates until 5/31/09 work out less than that. I price 2A and 1C for all those dates and it came up at $2500 for 3 people inside cabin - this is all dates in May for a 7 day cruise. That is also without the kids sailing 1/2 off. Make sure you compare before booking. BTW, you need to go to the 3rd page on the disney site and remove insurance and transfers to get the equivalent price.

  3. just saw in the flyer for 4 days only the 8 gb ipod touch is going to be 199.99 only ten per store. i need one of these for my neice now. uhhgg and im going ot go in and get a adjustment on the one i got two wks ago. if i can

Macmall has them for that right now with free engraving and charger (ac).

  4. My show would be based out of a large city (LA, Atlanta, Chicago, etc) in which 10 teams of 2 people per team would have to take a page off Gottadeal.com and find 5 actual in store deals. The last team to arrive back at a predetermined point would be eliminated. There will also be some side tests where a person must find an online deal and get an offline store to come as close to the deal as possible. That winner will keep that item.

This will continue until 2 teams are left. There will be a finale in which on Black Friday, the 2 teams must get as many of the deals as possible before noon. The trick is that they will not be allowed to camp out before midnight the night before so they must pick their stores carefully.

The winning team will be the one with the most deals (at the best price) and will get to keep all the items.

  5. for the microwaveable kind: this is one of the few sounds that calms my DD (14mos) down lately. i seriously will microwave bag after bag every day just to calm her.

With all the reports of the chemicals in popcorn possibly being harmful for long term breathing exposure (broncheolitis obliterans), I wouldn't do this. The news is full of these reports including a person who would pop several bags a day for a decade just to smell it. To be on the safe side, I would consider recording the sound of the popping corn to see if that works.

Does this mean I won't get the gift card giveaway??

  6. In 2006, I went to Sears to get the MP3 players, but I also had a big list for other items at other stores (CC had a Nintendo gameboy for $39, Office Max had 1Gig SD cards for 4.99, etc). I showed up 30 minutes before the store opened and saw about 70 people in line. I decided that the savings were a much better deal so I went to the door in the electronics dept. I was the only person in line!!!!!

When the doors opened, I got the MP3 players and the cashier noticed the other ads I had and asked if I wanted all that stuff. She said they price matched +10%. I gave her the list and got everything on my shopping list for an additional 10% off. On the way out, I stopped by the merchandise pickup dept and ask the guy if they had any $10 card left. He gave me 1 and I went back and picked up something for myself. I completed my shopping in less than 15 minutes and was back home in bed before 6:00am.

I was as happy as I could be (usually my wife does the BF thing and I stay home with the kids). I will probably do it again this year. I just hope everyone goes back to the door for the $10 card so I can get everything 1st.

  7. Thank you for the link. What you provided me did work, but just looking around on their web site, under the small business/smart values, there is the same machine with double the memory (1Gig) and a 16X DVD/RW for only $20 more. It is listed right beside the deal that Brad has posted and it is good until 6/27/2007. After comparing everything, I think it is worth the $20. If I configured the aforementioned deal with the same features, it drives the price to $519 ----- that's $100 more! I have been looking for a while since my machine is an 533MHz Emachine (and yes I've been very happy with it and have had NO problems). Office Depot has an eMachine in our local paper for $249 (no monitor) after $350 in rebates that I was going to go get, but I might just get the Dell instead.

    Dude, I'm getting a Dell!

  8. I know that Sam's Club has a policy that they will match their own price within 30 days if it is lower. I got a bedroom set there and a couple of weeks later it was put on clearance for about 1/2 price. I told the associate that I wish I would have waited and she explained that if I had my reciept, they would give me the latest price. I ran home, found my reciept and walked out with hundreds of dollars. Check with you local store and verify that they will do this but the associate told me that this is their policy.
  9. NOTHING ON-LINE!!!!

I just got one when my wife went to Walmart to pickup some milk and bread and just happened to walk over to the electronics. The guy just brought out 6 DS lites (all black) and 4 PS3. Funny thing was I stopped by the store this morning on my way to work (at 6:00am) while they were restocking and the guy said that there were none in. Must have arrived a little later. I told my wife to go back and look for the PS3 and everything was gone! That was only 15 minutes later. I guess it is mostly luck if you can be at the right place at the right time.

  10. Kmart here in Augusta had several and the sale is good until the 24th. They said they will give rain checks.

I got one and cant wait until my daughter gets it for Christmas and then stops playing with it. Then it will be mine and I can hack it and try some neat things with it.
