I had a Jansport all through out HS and DS has a Jansport. He will be going into 6th grade and he has had it since 3rd grade and it is still in good shape.

Or you could go to your local skating rink. They normally have a skate shop inside them. I grew up skating and actually competing in inline skating. I had my son on skates at 1 year old!!

I went a couple of years ago for the Nintendo Game Boy Lite deal. They had it for $100 and it came with a couple of games. I haven't been back since. Haven't seen anything that would drag me there on Thanksgiving. I'm not a big fan of that store as it is.

Well I just found out that WAMU gives you a $500 daily limit on your debit card and a $300 daily limit on cash. So that is going to put a damper on things. I am thinking of taking the $300 and putting it on a Visa or Mastercard gift card. I will have $1200 saved up for Christmas, but I have a lot less people to shop for this year so I shouldn't need to spend that much. And I have a Target card with $200 on it that I'll use, so I should be fine.

I guess my main concern is the turkey. I don't know what size to get, what brand, and how long to cook it and how. I can do all the other stuff, I am sure. Thanks everyone for your ideas. And if you have any recipes or menus, I would greatly appreciate you emailing them to me!! Thanks again!!!

Ok, so this will be my first year making Thanksgiving dinner for my BF, 10 year old son and some of my BF's military friends. I have never done this before and need all the help I can get. Where do I start, what do I do?? Please help!!! :)

I will start listening when XM starts playing it. Last year they started in late October. I don't know if they are playing it yet or not.

I don't think we have a place here in San Diego that we can cut them fresh! :) I did know to keep water in it, but I didn't know to water it every day for the first week. I also get that conditioner stuff or whatever it is to put in the water too.

I don't think there is a place here in San Diego that lets you chop your own tree down. That would be cool if we could. I know that you are supposed to have them chop another inch or so off of it when you buy it and I know to feel the needles through your fingers and if they fall off, then that is a dead tree. But I didn't know about drilling a hole through the bottom. Thanks!
