Forgive me if there is a thread for this already. I looked, but couldn't find it. Growing up, we would put our Christmas Tree up the day after Thanksgiving. But it was a fake tree, so it worked. Now that I am married, I have tried that tradition twice with a real tree (got tired of having fake trees all my life!) and they are always dead by Christmas. So now DH doesn't want to get a tree until 2 weeks before Christmas! I need a tree before that to decorate and put presents under! I have tried the water preservative, but nothing is working to keep these trees alive! What do you guys do to keep a tree alive for a month or so??

Add me to the ready list!!!! I have told everyone in our families that I don't care where we have Thanksgiving this year, I just have to be home that night to get ready for the next day!!!

I got a $400 Thanksgiving bonus from work last year, that is what I spent on BF. No big ticket items. The year before, I think I spent about $500, again, nothing big but a GB Advance. This year DS wanted the Nintendo DS and grandma bought it for him over the summer, so I lucked out this BF! I should spend about $500-$600 on BF this year.

So I get excited that the first ad is out for BF, show the ad to DH and there is nothing that he wants!

I go by myself. I have noone that wants to go with me. They all think that going shopping that early is crazy!

I normally just wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt. I carry a purse that has all of my stuff in it. I hit Starbucks first, then Target, so I carry my ads with me too.

That would be awesome! DH wants one of those too! Funny story, we live in San Diego and a couple of weeks ago it was really hot and we have no A/C in our house so we went to walk around Lowes. I told him to give me ideas for Christmas, now I have a whole page of things he wants there! LOL

Thank you. DH is wanting a DeWalt set and I am hoping to see that on sale.

I did see the list from last year and noticed Lowes wasn't on there. Thanks anyway!

Does anyone know what kind of deals Lowes had last year on BF? DH is wanting a few tools and I would like to know if I should make that one of my stops on BF! TIA!!

My DH wants one sooo bad! I can't see paying $600 now for it when in a year or 2 it will be down to $200!!

I went to Walmart last week to do a layaway. The associate in layaway told me that Walmart and Kmart are getting rid of their layaway and Target will start one at the first of the year. I live in San Diego, CA if that helps any.. And HI I am new here!!!
