  1. i am a kohls charge holder and we jjust got coupons that were 15% choose your day nov. 25th th and 15 % starting nov. 26th thru the 1st then 10$ off on black friday! :)

    I'm a Kohls MVC and I didn't get this.  I got a set of coupons with a 15%, a 20%, and a $10 off $30, but they all expire by Nov 24.

  2. I did the same thing got the L- Max at TRU with the 10% off joy card plus the $5.00 coupon, got the $10 gift card when you spend $75 and used that too. And my total with 9% tax was $73.00. Plus i got some good deal at CC on the games $14.99 each, so for $100 got L-Max and 2 Games

Did you earn the $10 giftcard from a previous purchase? Or did you earn it for this purchase and also use it at the same time?

I also heard Costco has the L-Max with case for $89.99.

  3. I think you should be able to do better than that. Walmart and Target have them for $49.95 regular price. I think Walmart black friday ad also has it as a package deal with 3 games as well. I was going to get the Leapster and told myself I wouldnt settle for less than $45. But instead I picked up the L-Max for $75 at TRU friends and family night, combined with the $5 off $25 coupon.
  4. I did it last year and wont do it again. People waited in a nice orderly line then they opened the doors. OMG. The people handing out GC were in the center of the store so it was a mad rush to get to them first. People first in line would not get a card if they didnt run the fastest. It was total chaos. I wont do it again. It was not worth it!
  5. a c moore a craft store here has mason jars in all sizes for 49 -1.00 or less:trampolin

A word of advice - I think mason jars are a popular item at Christmas so I would buy them early. I made the cookies last year and bought the last 4 mason jars from Michaels craft store. The entire aisle of them were all sold out.

  6. I bought the L-Max at TRU with the friends and family coupon combined with the $5 off $25 coupon. Total cost was $75. I am hoping someone beats that price, but if not I will be happy with what I paid.

Looks like TRU on line dropped the price to $89.99 which is the same price K-Mart has it on sale for this week.

Also, I believe all Leapster games are compatible with the L-Max. The reverse is also true however you may lose some features of the game that are only able to work when connected to the TV.

  7. We bought both the Scene it DVD and the Shout about the Movies last year to play at Christmas - everyone liked the Shout games alot better than the scene it ones. (and they are a bit cheaper ;) Amazon has them for 18.99

I picked up the newer version for us to play this Christmas... so I won't be able to comment on them yet, but I know I can't wait!

---- leah - newly addicted to this site

I got the Shout About Movies during the TRU BOGO sale. So they only cost $10 each. However I have seen some bad reviews about the game only being able to be played 3 times before you are repeating questions. Is this true?

  8. I would check the boxes. Every box I have checked so far for the L-Max games has said it is also compatible on the Leapster.

Anyone know if all the older Leapster games are available for L-Max? Some of the Leapster game boxes say they can be used on L-Max, but some of them dont. Is it just because some of the software boxes are old, before L-Max was around? And the games will still work?

  9. Does anyone have any predictions on how low of a price we will get on this game this year?

I think the lowest it went last year was $24. Just in case, I picked up the Harry Potter one at Toys R Us this week for $29.99 minus the $5 off $25 coupon.

Will someone beat $25??????? I hope so......
