Thanks for the reminder! -

They'll have a riot on their hands!!! They'd better announce the mistake WAY before 4:45. What's the chances of running to another store at that time and actually getting one. I'm not in that area and hope it's not a problem in my area, but I know I'd really be ticked if it was. Walmart can quickly get their stores open after devistatting hurricanes and can be an example to FEMA on how to get necessary supplies to the impending disaster area before the hurricane hits but can't figure out how to load a couple of trucks with the mistakenly shipped items and take them to where they belong? Doesn't sound like Walmart to me! I hope they can use their ingenuity to fix the problem.

Stores will take your money no matter what form it's in! CC's sometimes will limit your account activity so if you use it at several stores in a short period of time the computer may not allow the sale and you'll have to use cash/check. It's a protection agaist fraud, protects both the store and the user. If the card was stolen and being used at stores alll over, the computer picks up the activity and refuses to approve a sale after a while. It's a nice saftey feature until a day like BF comes when I run from store to store and purchase hundreds of dollars in each store. It only happened once but, I learned from that experience. Carry more than 1 card and or cash/checks!

As far as Sears goes, a few items will be available online at www.sears.com/wishbig According to the ad, anything marked with a mouse is available on Thanksgiving Day before 6 AM. I assume this means after midnight and before 6 AM but it doesn't state what time zone it is. Many of the other non-early bird sales are available online at the same time. The early bird sales I refer to are on page 3 of the ad. Shipping is charged but refunded via a rebate for shipping costs. The rebate by the way is good until 12/18 if anyone wants to do more shopping. The early bird items available online are : Proton 7" portable DVD kit (incl carry case & headphones) save $60. Sale price 89.99. Sears sku number 57245 mfg model # PDV288 GPX undercabinet Cd clock radio. I'm sorry to have to be the one to say this but NO MATTER HOW MUCH deodorant one puts on it's NEVER enough. Lugging boxes, coats (here in Northeast it can be chilly to say the least), bags, as well as being packed into a store like sardines has a way of defeating the affectiveness of deodorant!

Ok, so maybe by the time you read this the online prices may have gone up but take my word for it I actually found this "deal" at sears.com/bigwish. See sears ad scan page 46 for item # 48251 Craftsman Laser Trac level. Bf weekend sale (fri/sat) $29.99. bigwish site price now... 1:20 am Eastern 11/14 $24.99. Reg price $34.00 Save more NOW than on BF weekend. You have 1 results Craftsman Craftsman Laser Trac™ Level with Carrying Case and Laser Enhancing Glasses Sears item #00948251000 Mfr. model #LM013N $24.99 Reg. $34.99 Save $10.00 Sale ends 11/13/05 Rebate details They lure the BF shoppers in the store with promises of BF deals and actually sold the item 1 1/2 weeks earlier cheaper. As the saying goes... Buyer Beware.
-
OK I'm ticked. Just went to sears.com/bigwish and typed in some of the sears BF weekend sku codes (or whatever sears calls the 5 digit numbers they have to identify their products). Guess what??? Some of the prices are already on line. Some say sale ends 11/13. Here in PA it's already 11/14. Maybe their sale ending time is another time zone BUT I just found an item CHEAPER NOW than on BF weekend. Item # 48251. Online it's selling for $24.99 and BF weekend it will be $29.99. Is sears a rip off or what? They lure the BF shoppers into the store and charge them more than they could have purchased it for 2 weeks earlier! As the saying goes BUYER BEWARE!!!

That's a bummer!!! If that holds true It puts me in a quandry!

Have a cell phone? Just call Staples 800# and order online while waiting in line at Sears. Shipping is free for $50.00 or more but if you have a staples rewards card (easy to get - check online or fill out an application in store before BF) shipping is FREE to rewards members! Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I try to order what I want from Staples from Thanksgiving morning all the way thru when I leave for the BF sales. If the stuff isn't on sale on line before I leave, I take the ad with me and call customer service and ask for the price of an item I'm interested in. If that item is at BF price, then all the stuff is. Then I order what I need. They ship it to the house in about 2 business days.
-
FYI Sears has a care bear sing-a-long on sale 50% off on BF (not available online) Reg price is $19.99 sale $9.99. Each bear sings 3 songs. I know Sing a long Love a Lot bear sings Row Row Row your boat, If You're Happy and You know it, and Wheels on the bus. I assume others sing different songs. I know it's not what you were looking for but another option.
-
Unfortunately none of the tools on page 7 have the mouse so they won't be available online.
-
If you order $50.00 or more at staples you get free shipping. They don't offer in store pick up at least I've never heard of it (at Staples that is). Also, if you have a staples customer card (not sure what it's actually called) you get free shipping on any amount! It only takes about 2 days to get to me. Order on Friday and with the weekend I'd say I'd get it on Mon or Tuesday. They have great shipping service! Look at it this way. Order online or thru the 800 # and have it delivered to your door instead of stashing it in your car. Leaves more room for other stores stuff

It doesn't say exactly... just before 6 Am Thanksgiving day. I assume after midnight but before 6 AM. the mice are placed in the ad just after the product number or whatever Sears calls the codes they use to identify items in their computer. As far as looking for the little mice... just go by my post. I've identified the pages items are on and which ones are or are not available online. I tried to make it easy since ad scans are hard to make out details. Any specific questions as to an item and it's product number (sears ID number) just ask and I'll look at the ad and get the product code for you and tell you if it's available online Turkey day or not. Tell me the scan page number and I'll do what I can

Just got home from the F & F event at Sears. Got their sales ad for BF early bird and reg sales. If you missed the F & F event here's some good news: Ad states "Shop online before 6 AM Thanksgiving day @ sears.com/wishbig plus online orders ship free after mail-in rebate. Offer good thru 12/18 (I'd think for the shipping offer). Exclusions apply. Many items, mostly the regular fri/sat/sun deals are available online that day as they are designated by a mouse in the product description. Ad scan pages 1&2 nothing available online Page 3 everything available online Pages 4 to 17 - unfortunately nothing is available online All clothing, jewelry, purses, bedding, towels etc from pages 18 - 25 is not available online. All the toys (scan page 27) are available online. All holiday decor (page 26) is available. All pool tables/ game tables on page 28 are available online. Exercise equipment (page 29) is available. Pots, blenders, mixer, a microwave, vacuums, sewing machines are available (pages 30 & 31). Refrigerators, washer/dryers, ranges, water softener, dishwashers, freezers are available (pages 32-33). TV's, DVd player, DVD recorder, and dvd/vcr combo and all other regular sale electronics are available (pages 34-36) Seems that DVD's and Atari are NOT but the PS2 controller IS (page 37) Cameras, camcorders all in 1's, phones, on pages 38-39 ARE available. Automotive (pages 40-41) is not available. Tools (pages 42 - 47) are available Tools page 48 are NOt.

-
Oops, just realized BB has it for that price in store now. See my other post about free activation and 3 months service free.

FYI The 6' inflatable santa in chimney on sale on BF is the regular price at B&M Walmart and selling for that price right now. Daughter-in-law has had one on layaway for weeks now at the BF sale price. Look for a sale at other stores on this item and price match. She got $10.00 off the price last week when Rite Aid had it on sale for $50.

Can we get a master list we could download in PDF format?
mrsnshick replied to deals2save's topic in 2005
I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you looking for a list of each store's BF deals that were already leaked? And you want them in PDF format? If so there is a list in the sticky section of the forum. I think it's about the 8th thread on the list. It leads to all the stores BF pdf and zip files. Here is a link. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=15792 -
Are all 24 hour Walmarts open before the 5-11 early bird?
mrsnshick replied to dremerda999's topic in 2005
My super center stays open Thanksgiving and into Friday. The stuff is, as others said, shrink wrapped until the bewitching hour. I usually hit a store as it opens, grab the items that are door busters and get to the next store, sometimes before the line that has been waiting there for hours is all inside. With walmart super store, I can but the non-doorbusters at 3 am or 4 am, get the stuff to my car and get back in the store in time to wait by the one hot item I must have on that day! It saves me the time of driving back to the store and fighting the traffic and lines. Last year my son wanted me to pick up a curio cabinet for his wife. It was on sale at walmart for about $50.00 off. Not the greatest deal but no one else had them on sale. I bought it, hauled it to the truck and didn't have to worry about fighting the lines with the huge box! It's worth getting there early and shopping for the luke warn deals while waiting for the hot deals to start. I my super walmart!!!! -
No. BF is the only crazy shopping day I know of. It's the day retailers show a profit for the year. Having great sale prices on hot items helps them accomplish that goal. Last year the sales were really crappy but I still found a way to drop big bucks on BF . Looks like they learned their lesson and are going to have some decent deals this year!

In my city (Glendale,AZ) camping in front of Walmart isn't really needed...
mrsnshick replied to EliteABombAZ's topic in 2005
I have a super walmart (24 hour store) near me so getting in is not a problem...getting OUT is! By the time they unwrap the shrink wrap from the BF stuff at the start time of the sale, making it available for purchase, the store is jammed packed with people making moving a few inches difficult let alone pushing a cart with the BF items! Wish they didn't have so many great deals so I could do without the cart (have to have some way to carry the TV and other stuff ) -
I'm wondering if the AR was missed when the loptop was posted since toshiba has a $100.00 rebate on this model which doesn't expire until the end of the year. The laptop normally sells for $699 before rebate. Wouldn't it be oh so sweet if the $399 was before the rebate? Oh well, I can dream can't I....
