  1. Finally made it back to Walmart yesterday.  They had tons and tons of those art/craft sets, pre-school games, scooters, video games (I think they were the $10 ones), some movies, dress up clothes, and more.  I didn't see too many of the televisions or anything, but we live in a small town so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

  2. Best Buy online:

    Kindle Fire HD

    Grand Theft Auto V

    Xbox 360 Black Friday Bundle

    Xbox 360 Camouflage controller

I received shipping notification for all of the items. Made me happy!

Went to Kmart yesterday morning to buy the Furby Boom for our niece and nephews. Other than the guy screaming at a sales associate (because the item he wanted was out of stock), it was pretty quiet. My sister and I got the Furby's and were out of the store in about 15 minutes.

I haven't left the house today. Dh and I are supposed to go to Gander Mtn. later on. I'm surprised that he even mentioned going out today since he isn't a fan of Black Friday. Crossing my fingers that traffic isn't too bad and the store isn't crowded.

  3. Steam is an internet game delivery system. In current for it's a client on your PC or MAC that allows you to download, install and play games. There are many games that support steam. It also adds various chat and ranking features. They have been expanding it and are releasing (released?) a Steam Console which will allow you to all of these things in a console setting with no PC. There is no physical media with steam everything is a a digital download.

    Thank you.

  4. An etiquette book?!

Seriously though. My son is making coasters out of tile for some of his teachers. Maybe your kids can make them some of those. If you google coasters made from tile it will give you the instructions. They are actually pretty neat because you can use whatever design or picture you want.

    Good luck!

  5. DS will be 13 in January. I was struggling to figure out what to buy him. Dh and I talked about an xbox, but he really isn't a big gamer. He is really into hunting, so we will most likely stick to that sort of a theme. So far this is what I have come up with for ideas.

    ipod touch 4th generation

    ipod case

a gun case for his youth rifle (already purchased)

    camo backpack

    camo lunchpail

maybe a few games for the psp ( usually buy second hand at gamestop)

some hunting related items (still waiting on dh for ideas)

    hoodies

    cabelas gift card

rootbeer making kit (I got this idea from another board) He usually gets a 6 pack of rootbeer under the tree so I might change it up a bit this year.

He did ask for one thing (it's a game I think) called Roxx. I have no idea what it is...

  6. Thanks Brad for all of your hard work.

Not a terribly dissappointing ad, but not great either. The PSP seems like a good deal. Too bad it's not the one my son wants. Hoping I can score the sewing machine, boys jeans, and electronic drum set.
