The customer service section on the BB website says they don't price match competitor's prices, only their own.

Walmart offers free site to store shipping. If you order online with that, you are guaranteed to get one without worrying about getting to the store before they possibly sell out.

If you go to www.target.com and look at the flier it is showing the stuff as in store only. Maybe there are a couple of things you can buy online but I didn't find any.

the Staples Compaq has the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 which from what I'm reading, looks to be pretty decent. Actually looks to be better than the graphics card on my desktop PC. lol
That's the one I'd get if I was inclined to fight crowds bf 2 hours away from where I live. But I got the one from walmart's secret sale and it seems good to me. It's just for my parents and they don't play any high end games so I can't comment on that.

I bought one for one of my sons who works on vehicles and camps alot. Then when I showed it to my other son who is a computer techy he said it was cool. You can even power a video game on it. lol

At Home Depot, the HUSKY Jumpstarter System is a really cool handy thing to have. $89 it has a jumpstarter, air compressor, work light, and a 12 volt power outlet. It has 400 watts of power so you can actually take this thing anywhere and plug smaller things into it. Laptop, cell phones. Handy for emergencies. I got my son one.
Home Depot won't go right to the link so do a search for Husky Jumpstarter System. It's got great reviews.

It was plugged in at my Walmart. I wasn't impressed. The colors were bland. Course I'm comparing it to my new hp 42" plasma which is much better.

Kohls was a little slow but nowhere near this bad. They are seriously crashing.

I am trying to checkout but it's been about 15 minutes now and it's just not moving. Or I get through part way then I get an error message. I suppose once I get through all the stuff in my cart will be sold out.

My son was told by Best Buy that they got 80 units in and they didn't even have that many people waiting in line for PS3. Plus he said they will be getting more shipments between now and Christmas. It sounds like these will be alot eadsier to get.

Amazon would not replace any TV sets larger than 27 inches. Keep that in mind.
What does this mean, that they won't replace it? If it's broke they won't replace it?
Has anyone dealt with Amazon on big purchases like this? I'd buy this one in a heartbeat if it was at Walmart. Amazon makes me a bit nervous.

If he uses tools at all a cordless drill is a great gift.
Sears has one for $49, but I'm sure Lowes and Home Depot probably would too.

I just got a flier from Dell. November 19-21 they have a Dell laptop for $449. This one is comparable to the specs on the walmart one but only has a 15.6" screen vs. the 17" HP at walmart. Walmart will have limited supplies though on Black Friday and the dell should be fairly easy to get.
If you go to dell.com and type in the code you will see the specs on it now with a price of $633. The E-Value code is 6M419-FNPVLY10
