I bought the Leapster for my son when he was 3. It got very little use, until now (age 5) he won't put it down! I purchased one at WalMart this year for my 3 year old daughter because she always wants to play with her brother's. There was a bundle deal at WalMart where you bought the Leapster and received a carrying case as well as the "Letterpillar" game for less than $60.

I do think that WalMart's prices are truly better than KB or even TRU. The problem is the never have the items I want in stock. This year, I have actually had real good luck with amazon.com and since I am prime, I get free shipping.

I just got back from TRU and was able to snag a CARS DVD even at 7 PM. I did have to go to Customer Service, and they had a few behind there. Also picked up 3 boxes of crayons with the B1G2 Free.

DH mentioned last night that he was interested in starting accoustic guitar lessons. problem is, no guitar! Looking to surprise him on Christmas. Any deals OL or B&M that anyone can help out with? Thanks in advance!

Well, before we get into the whole conscience issue, plain and simple the person packing your items made a mistake. You ordered something OL, and they sent you the wrong item. How is that your fault? Now, if I am in a B&M store, and I see a blatant mistake, I will say/do something. If I get overcharged, undercharged (hasn't happened yet) and esp correct change, I speak up. Because honestly, the extra $2 the cashier gives me by mistake is not worth them loosing their job over because their till is under. And hey, there is no way my DH would EVER contact buy.com to tell them the mistake they made with us. They sent us a PSP bundle package last year by mistake when I had ordered a PS2 wireless controller for my DH. Had no idea of the mistake until I was wrapping the package Christmas Eve. And I feel I am a very honest person and I don't feel the least bit bad about it. Consider it a little extra bonus this season, and to offset your kharma, do a nice deed for someone this holiday season! :)

Went today, nothing, but I did find the instruments. The clarinet and flute. They were still marked at the same price, but I'm sure they must have missed a markdown. My Target is known for that.

I understand you not wanting to make a big stink, but I think Amazon should know that some of their merchants lack customer service skills/proper reviewing before posting an item. That error was blatant, and someone needs to know that the merchants are hurting the rep of Amazon. JMO, I know, but customer service is a big deal for me.

I am sorry for the confusion in the beginning, but glad that you were able to get the price adjustment. What is up with Amazon.com? I placed an order for 2 sets fo the $7.99 Farberware skillets, and they sent me 2 separate orders. Only charged once. Not complaining mind you , just wondering what is going on over there!

Gator Pam, I would buy the warranty. My son has a Nintendo Gameboy that had issues, but because of my entended warranty, I got a replacement with no problems. Kids will be kids, and I think $24.99 is worth it. JMO. Good Luck!

That truly seems unfair. It was their error, they should eat it. I would complain to Amazon with the proof that they relisted it. Its their fault, not yours. So sorry.

Went today, nothing on Clearance worth mentioning. Did get a few good deals on board games for the kids. Monopoly and Clue Jr were only $7.49. I didn't even see the instruments at my Target anymore.

Should be interesting if it is true. Have nothing else to shop for, so doubt I will go unless there is absolutely something I can't live without. But honestly, a true procrastinator doesn't switch into gear until the 24th. The 15th is still too early. Just ask my DH!

Are you lookng for a particular color? If not, the Red one at Target comes with a memory card. I still see them at my Target and WalMart, so I guess they aren't as popular over here. Good Luck!

I have found games like Over the Hedge and Cars for PS2 for $19.99 at BB, but that is during their Wednesday sales and were a few weeks ago. I'll let you know if I find any other deals. If you are looking for older games, I have seen some on Clearance through Circuit City and BB. Cheap, but a lot of shooting games. Good Luck!

My local Target still had the Gibson instruments at my last visit. Still not much movement on the price though. Next time I am in, I'll scan to see what they are coming up at if they are still there.
