  1. They only had two at our Walmart---we were able to snag one, but other people went away unhappy. Our Walmart also did not have an advertised skateboard. Said they just didn't get any----sorry.

    IT kinda stunk.

  2. Warning.

Be sure to check credit card statements.

They cancelled my order, refunded my credit card, then sent the items anyway, with a bill for the entire amount, to be paid in 3 months.

I called to check on the order, this is what they told me. So, I paid again over the phone with my credit card.

I come home, and the only free thing they included was the scarf. :( I had ordered like 30 items, including like 13 free items, and they were missing.

I called, but they were unhelpful. They are going to send me something, but I have doubts it will be what i ordered. I offered to email them my order confirmation so they could compare it with my shipping statement, but they declined. ??? :yuck:

  3. Last year my mom and I hit up our Walmart at around 2:30 or 3:00 a.m. We really wanted the ten dollar Idog for my daughters. Anyway, we got there and I notice there are like 15 Idogs out on the regular aisle in toys. So, since they are just sitting there and not in plastic, we scooped two up. Then we covered them up with our jacket, just in case. ;) Anyway, while waiting in line we find out that there will only be ten or fifteen of the ten dollar Idogs for the whole store, and they are in a box in the middle aisle. I went back to the aisle where we had gotten them earlier and they were all cleared out. >:( There were tons of people waiting for the Idog that went home empty handed and they had had plenty, but just took them to the back.

When I tried to pay, it scanned 29.99 but I showed her the ad that said they were ten bucks and she gave it to me for that.

    Sneaky jerks.

  4. We were at Walmart around 2:30 looking around the store. My big hope was to score 2 IDogs. Well, we were looking around where the pallets were, and there was no big pallet of IDogs, but there was a big display in the middle of an aisle. They were the ones that are there every day. They were not in plastic and there were no instructions not to pick them up. So, I picked up two and put them in the back part of my basket, just for fun, and kept looking.

So, about 30 minutes later, they remove the display of IDogs and take it to the back, I guess. There were at least 20 IDogs that had been on display. I'm starting to feel a little guilty, but I figure if anyone asked I would tell the truth. Anyway, when the Blitz IDogs, come out, they start announcing there was only 12. I went to get in line for them to insure I would get at least one at the 10.00 price, and I did, but I couldn't ask for 2 with there being only 12. The blitz Idogs were in a black box, and the other Idogs I got where in white boxes.

Well, I put one of the white boxed ones up and go and check out. Sure enough, the white box Idog rang up 29.99. I pulled out the ad and showed the cashier and told her I got it from another shelf. She pricematched for me with no problem.

Was that an okay thing to do? I felt kinda guilty since they pulled the other Idogs off the shelves, but a.) I think it's kinda rotten to have surplus stock that you won't sell for the advertised price, when there is such a limited number (12_ of a highly advertised item, and b.) I didn't dig in any kind of plastic pallet before time and I just got it right off hte shelf. It didn't say not to put them in your carts.

    Was I okay?

  5. Just FYI---they usually always have some kind of markdown in the store.

For big sales like this, they go up to their regular price. So jeans that are marked 39.99 but are sold in the store most of the time for 19.99, go up to 39.99 before they are marked down fifty percent to, what else, 19.99.

It can still be a good deal on somethings, but it's not as great as it sounds.
