  1. Get there as early as you possibly can. Most wal-marts will open at midnight and they are located usually at the electronics counter. Good luck!:eyepoppin
  2. went to our local walmart (pearlcity,Hawaii) they had us wait outside the front door and didn't let us shop until 8:20am.

Here is the inventory thy had. I was 4th in line. We were given 2 item limit per person. Laptops one per person.

    Laptop:out of stock(rain checks)

42" sharp lcd: only 2 in stock

    xbox 360:20 in stock

    sony blue ray:50 in stock

    panasonic plasma:out of stock(rain checks)

As you can see it sucked. 2 people in front of me purchased the sharp 42" tvs. All I got was the laptop which I will have to pick up later.:yuck:

  3. sears usually hands it out on friends and family night here in Hawaii. I just logged on to GD since last year and I find out that friends and family may be over? What's this Oct. 4 stuff???:P
  4. Usually 4hrs from 5-9am. Unfortunately they are gone within a few minutes. It all depends where you are in the line to get in. It's best to get a team together or make some friends in line. Good luck!:)
  5. Was just told by a previous Sears worker that the computers switch over about 7pm on Wednesday night and will have BF deals inputted already.

    Is there any truth?

If so, that would make shopping so much easier if I can just hit up a few stores Wednesday night and not have to worry about getting up early Friday!

I believe this may be true. I went into my local sears on Sunday to check out the 46" sony bravia but ended up buying the 46" sharp instead. When I went to my local sears distribution center a guy picking up his sony 46" which he got for $1249.00 said he purchased the night before. He claims that it was on sale in the computer the night before just before closing which would be 9:00 pm here. :gdlicklips:

  6. I have this coupon and want to use it on a TV on friday or saturday and was wondering if they would accept it on those days

I have this same coupon and took it to my local bb yesterday. It is only good on regular priced merchandise. :yup:

  7. I went in this morning and bought the Panasonic 56" LIFI TV. I notice they had signs everywhere advertising their 60 day price protection policy, so before I bought it I asked the salesman if the 60 day policy applied to their sale prices for BF, he said what 60 day policy, it's only 30 days. I told him their were signs everywhere saying it was 60 days, he said he would have to take those down, because it has never been 60 days for electronics. I said, well anyways I don't care if it's 30 or 60, does it apply to BF? He said they would do a price adjutment on BF, his boss was there standing by him and didn't dispute what he said. So I told him I would take it. He rung me up, and said I could pick up the TV on Monday. I again asked him if he was sure that I could do the price adjustment, and again he said I could as long as I show up on Friday during the sale hours. I got his name, so we will see what happens on Friday. If for some reason they refuse to do it, I will just take the TV back for a refund. Hopefully they don't have a re-stocking fee.

I experienced the same thing. I seen 60 day price protection on the price tag of an lcd television. When I asked the sales person he told me it's only 30 days. I would ask for and assistant or store manager if available. They seem to be the only ones who care about your concerns. :P

  8. well guys seems like we are getting the run around if you know what I mean. It seems as if we don't have concrete proof that sears will price adjust. I just emailed them and this is their reply. I must note that in my original email I did mention black friday. I even called customer service and waited for 15 min to speak with a rep. Her name was Danelle and she also said that I would be able to get price adjustment reguardless of sale especially black friday. here's the email:

  9. now when you say this, "nasty" you mean..? i mean how bad could the picture really be.. (although i might have to go check it out) Im liking this tv for games(ps3 and xbox360) and movies primarily, also i am debating between this tv and the 42" sharp aquos, forsale on BF any suggestions on which way i should go?

When I say nasty I mean nasty. They had oceans 12 playing on the feed at the time and I could barley make out george cloony's face. It was fuzzy and looked like I was watching some old vhs tape. I would go with the sharp. That's what I'm going for...46" though.:D

  10. Kind of figures they are disorganized. What e-mail address did you use to mail the question to? Was it on the main Sears web page? Seems strange it says Sears Holding Corporation. I would love to send an e-mail to that same address, and get the same answer so I can go pick up my TV this weekend. I would just like to have this in writing before I take the chance.

That would be awsome if we can do this. Just so worried about individual managers on duty. If we would print out the email or get some kind of written conformation to bring with us to the store so we don't end up the loser or look like idiots in the process. I'll see what I can do. Thanks.:yup:
