  5. I was at my local JcPenney this weekend and was able to score quite a bit of stuff. I got 6 dress shirts, 2 leather jackets, and a pair of leather boots all for under $100. The boots were orig. $80, all leather, and were clearanced to $4.97 which is what? More than 90 percent off! I just couldn't believe it! Both coats were originally $200 each and were marked to $30--more than 75% off. I did take advantage of the coupon in the circular. Some fantastic deals!!!!
  6. FYI--regarding the Eddie Bauer. Last night, I saw something like this marked to $14.98 and thought it was a ready bed (they were red, came in a big package, in camping section with other ready beds). Upon further investigation (i.e, studying it for a while) I realized it wasn't a ready bed but instead, a bed topper!! It can be used on top of a regular bed or ready bed. I'm not saying the OP is wrong, they might have ready beds on clearance too. Just want to warn you though--to look closely to make sure!!!

  8. If you are going out to Target today, would someone kindly scan the price for the Fisher Price Shake n' Go Speedway??? Please? As of last week, it was still marked/scanning at $27.xx in SW VA store, but I am hoping it gets marked further today. I won't be able to make it out due to weather/work until later but if it's marked down further, I'll call and see if someone can hold it for me (I've never asked this before but based on previous threads discussing this, it sounds like it depends on the store!) Thanks!!!!
  9. Just returned from my Southwest VA Target and found the following: Children's sports print inflatabed, marked $9.98 but ring up $4.98 (75% off) Various children's tents (shark, hippo, elephant) are $6.24 (75% off) The 15-in-1 tables got marked to 75% off today, yay!!! $29.xx Full size Reebok Basketball marked at 50% $9.98 Children's nice insultated water bottles with carrying handle .74 (75% off) Big tent and tunnel play set were 75% ($10) various womens socks are 75% off (.75-$1)
  10. Back to my Target last night (SW VA). Found the following: ilamps in the box (not the loose ones) rang at 75% off = $7.50. Thanks to PPs as these weren't marked correctly in my store Rival big roaster rang up at 75% = $7.50 This was on an endcap with no price stickers. It also had shrink wrap around the whole box with manuf. info, like it had literally just come off the truck! Home basics nut roaster pan 75% off = $6.25 Didn't get this, but could be a neat gift for someone who enjoys that kind of thing. Also had the nut glazes marked down to $1.xx. Many of these were left.
  11. I am in Christiansburg so I go to that store most frequently, however, I do make trips to Roanoke often and of course, I always have to stop by the Target there. The Christiansburg and Roanoke Targets are not on the same markdown schedule, so I can usually find diff. bargains at each location!
  12. I was in my local Target tonight (SW Virginia) and found the following items: kitchen tongs, set of two (75% off) .74 Spongebob rain poncho (75% off) 1.98 found in camping section, other characters also available greatland multipurpose tool (75%) 1.97, utility pocket knives at the same price greatland 2 pack of stainless steel travel mugs (75%) 2.50 pampers pullups orig. 20 on sale for 14-$2 coupon = $12 thanks to previous poster. I also had a coupon to get a free Kandoo product when purchasing any package of pullups!!! Curious George (and other children's bath sets) at 50% off = $2.50 A flypen that rings up $12.50 -- I passed on this as I have no one to give it to:rolleyes: and wanted someone else to get the bargain Beanbag toss game found in sporting good (Elmo, Dora, Cars) at 50% off = $5 Childrens fishing pole sets (very cute!!) in sporting goods at 75% = $4 Girls' tackle boxes (would also be cute just for hairclips, barbie clothes, etc. as it doesn't have any fishing motif) 75% off = $2 Some other little things here and there too. A good night.
  13. About the Playwonder kitchen toys--I too noticed that they went on clearance after Christmas and were promptly replaced with identical items for regular price sale. I would guess that the "summer" items like the grill, chef hat set, wood food sets that have BBQ items are considered seasonal and will go on clearance at the same time as the other seasonal items. The regular kitchen toys sets, since they are so new, will probably not be clearanced again for some time (this would include the blue/red items like the kitchen itself, pot/pan sets, etc). Basically, the ones in the summer aisle are likely to go to clearance before the ones in the middle of the toy section. I could be wrong, so it's always worth checking when you are there.
  14. The football only was on clearance for 75% but also the gamestation (the one with 6 games). The football one had been stickered correctly but the gamestation had not. It did indeed ring up to $35!! If you are interested in the gamestation at all, it's probably worth scanning:-)
  15. I know all of you bargain hunters know this, but always scan, scan, scan!!! I went last night to see if I could get the ESPN gamestation at 75% off ($35). Well, it was marked at half price on the sticker and it wasn't with the rest of the clearance stuff. I scanned it and it indeed came up at 75% I'm sure they'd have been gone had they been stickered correctly. I, too, want to thank everyone for their posts on this board! If it wasn't for this board, I wouldn't have known about all the awesome deals -- I loaded up on toys for DS and as gifts. Hidden deals, especially--it is generous of people to share their tips with us!!!
