Office Depot rebates are a nightmare for me. My husband keeps buying the tax programs and anti-virus things there that are supposed to be FAR. I get denied at least one every year. My best experience was with Costco. I bought Money 2005 in Sept of 2005 and lost the receipt. I just found it last month and the rebate doesn't expire until Dec 2006. I filled out the form online and got my check in 10 days. I was very impressed.

My cat likes to lick plastic grocery bags...drives us nuts.
We reuse them as liners for small garbage cans around the house, so we sometimes get woken up in the night to a bag-lickin-kitty.
One of our cats does this weird teeth grinding thing while chewing plastic bags. It is like nails on a chalkboard. Then she sticks her head through the handles and wears it as a cape all day.
Lucky for us, both of our cats are older and stay away from the tree for the most part. The tooth grinder played with the tree once, but the tree stand broke and the whole tree fell on her. Never had a problem since! So you might want to have a fully-loaded Christmas tree "magically" fall on her, just to teach her good!
But that would be mean and oh-so-not the Christmas spirit! -
I don't think the butterscotch pony will be released until November. They sure seem to be hyping it up, but with a $300 price tag, I guess they need to. Of course, I am begging my husband to let me buy one for our daughter!

I am hoping they have some good deals. I have 6 young kids (not all mine!) to buy for, and it seems they all want FP things. I pray that the digital camera goes for $40 or less on BF.

I am hoping for a free cell phone for myself, and a cheap but decent digital camera as a gift.

How do you feel about shopping for people who are too "lazy" to shop for themselves?

If they plan to wake up early to shop online and try to get some things for me, I would do it. I would also do it if the person usually doesn't ask for favors and just wants one or two things.
I have already announced that I will be doing my own shopping and they will have to get whatever they need themselves. Several people begged me to get popular things in the past, even to stores I wasn't planning on going to, and I have done it for them. This year, no one wants to watch the baby for me so they can just do it themselves!
