Has anyone read this article regarding HDMI 1.3, basically saying all HDTV's now will be obsolete? Obviously this isnt entirely true given I love the picture on my Samsung LCD, but it is an interesting article nonetheless. Just an article for all the people going crazy over BF HDTV's.
Eh...expensive and not worth buying 'new' technology on first release. I'll stick with current HDM models.

This definitely looks like an awesome TV. Looks like it would give a great movie theater experience. I've been leaning towards getting an LCD after comparing LCD's, Plasma's, and DLP's. I've always liked the way DLP's give such vibrant colors and the 1080p will give crisp detail. Hmmm...should I make this the one I get?
Depends what kind of LCD. I'm gonna be getting this Samsung later this year.

Actually, I;ve been keeping track of this Samsung 56" 1080P, it hasn;t reverted back to original price, but actually lowered by another 100. I think it was 1999 some weeks ago, and stayed until it was updated to this lower price. So, you might actually find it better to wait a little more (and take the risk), and I will be. Also buy the warranty plan like said above. You don;t want to spend much on repair bills.
And dang firefox won;t let me type apostrophes so I;m using semicolons

is anyone else struck by the abreviations? BB & CC? There is also an AA (not as much fun) many of us have a DD - but what is EE? FF? GG?
sorry... I digress.
I think GG = Good Guys, but yeah... gone.

I think as long as it says those 3 words, it should be fine. There's also Memeory Stick Pro Duo, and I think those work too.
