    $5.00 tag and leapster coupons in Wendy's kids meals

    I have not seen this post before so I wanted to let you know that Wendy's has lowered there kids' meals to 1.99 and the bag the kid's meal comes in has a $5.00 off any leapster tag system or book and then in the kid's meal toy their is another coupon for $5.00 off any leapster max game or system. I got both my dd and myself kid's meal and wound up getting $20.00 worth of coupons.

     

    The tag books are on sale for $9.99 at Toys R Us until 11/25 and the leapster max games are 18.49 so if you have a couple of coupons this make a great deal in my opinion.

    I just read in Gameformer magazine that Nintendo is coming out with a DSiXL which is a better DSi. There had been some problems and complaints in the orginal dsi and the new xl version is supposed to of handled these. They will be in the us by February or March of this year and are making there debut in Japan next week.

     

    Here is my dilemna, my ds 8 wants a dsi because my husband dropped an broke his ds. I was debating on the ds or dsi know i am thinking maybe getting him a used ds from gamestop and then wait and get a new dsi xl when it comes out. The used ds lites are 59.00 bf and I can pass that one done to my dd who will be 5 in April and has already been asking for a ds lite.

     

    Any opinions and thoughts would be appreciated.

    I am very blessed to say that I have been involved with Jafco which is an foster care and adoption organization and this year I am co-ordinating my temples toy drive. We are asking all families that come to our hanukkah party bring a new unwrapped toy or a give card or money donation for jAFCO. I am also thrlled that both by children's school are donating to toys for tots and our local food bank.

    What time do you think I should get in line for one of the DSI with the 20 gift card. It is really the only thing I need to get. The rest of my shopping day will be whatever happens happens but I need to get that DSI for my DS If I bought it the day before thankgsgiving could I return it and re-buy it bf and get the gift cards?

    I just looked at targets bf and and saw a dsi bundle pack that came with a $20 gc. I also saw a ad that for every $100 you spend you get a $10 gc. Do you think that if I bought this and another ds game I would get 40.00 in gc?

    I personally do not think the zhu zhu's will appear on bf. A store would be crazy to put them out with so many people in the store. My hunch is that they will be on sunday and also in ads in the sunday paper.

    i DON'T see anything either. I am looking for a good DSI bundle for my DS. Already bought DD a dollohouse for TRU and it came with a free loving family minivan.

    Santa is also bringing this for my DD. I am torn if I should go ahead and get it for 69.oo and get the free van at tru or wait and see for black friday. I know it is not in targets toy books .

    All opinions would be appreciated.

    I do not know if this is the place to post but I will give it a shot. If anyone gets the magazine 'family Fun" there is a $5.00 coupon for the game pictureka flipper in the November issue. Target has the regular pictureka on sale for $10:00 this week and the coupon scans which brings the game down to $5.00. It looks like a cool game for the family if not I figure for $5.00 it will go in my birthday present closet or to the Angel Tree this holiday season.

    Last year I made Wal-mart my 1st stop for the first time instead of toys-r-us and I could not believe the way people acted. They laid across the pallets of leapster max's and sweatsuits in the kids department and would not even let you look at the colors until they where picked over. I was very lucky last year a women ahead of me for a leapster started a line down the aisle and made sure no one cut in line and when the pallets opened her husband started handing them out in order of the line we called out what color we wanted . Also when we where waiting in line to check-out I had some hsm dolls in my basket and the women infront of me asked If I was buying all of them because she could not find any. Well I let her pick-out which dolls she wanted and she was so happy then in the parking lot I saw her getting into a car with the two people who orgainized the leapster madness. Totally makes me believe in Karma .
