  1. Does anyone have one of these, and if you do...does you kid color on other things more now/ I am terrified of this little thing because of this.

My son is 3 and he has made a few slips on a table or something, but it wipes away. He loves it and it is so easy to just throw it in the washing machine to start again. :D

  2. I bought one last summer for my son, and also didn't know they were going to be such hot items. I wanted to get one for my nephew and haven't been able to find one. Looked on walmart.com this morning and they are out of stock :(.
  3. You are entitled to your opinion, if you want to pm me about my parenting, then please do! No need to take it public!!! Every situation is different, if you don't know everything than you shouldn't blast people! If I lived in Hawaii where it was 65*, I guess, it would still be wrong, eh? :yuck:

I totally agree booterbunz, I took my son with me shopping. I guess I am a bad parent also ;) , some people know it all.
  4. Security should definitely be enforced.

    How about this too:

Someone from the store hands out tickets as people arrive with the hour on

them... ie, 11pm, etc. Each hour they go along and you get another ticket

for the current hour... 12am, 1am, 2am, etc...

Then at 5am before they open, they give one voucher max to each person

(each body) in line with all of the tickets and so on and so forth. It would

show who got there first (someone with 11pm through 4am) and it would

show who stayed the entire time... in other words, if you have 11pm, 12am, 4

am and you don't have your 1am, 2am, and 3am tickets then you count as a

4am no matter where you stand in line.

Also, add to that a barrier like this:

Obviously that could be varied, just a quick sketch. That way there's no

mob rush at the door at 5am, and with the ticket thing, it would be easy to

tell who was really there first.

If I managed a Best Buy or something like that I would certainly be looking

into things like this for next year.

so much could be avoided if they had barriers...good ideas

  5. Our wm was crazy as usual, no organization, no reasoning in locations of items. The dvd's were in the men's clothing section, the tables with them on it were getting knocked over. I didn't go to electronics, but you could hear the people fighting across the whole store. I was there by 3, and of course the line in front of me had doubled before the doors opened and a big group of about 50 'cutters' thought they were just going to merge into line with us. But I got my deals...I always expect craziness..so I guess no real complaints.
  6. I was actually wondering what GottaDeal could do better, not the stores. I don't think there is enough database space to discuss what the stores could do better.

I am sure Ross/Brad would do what they could if they saw it would help. The price for flyers shouldn't be too expensive, and the turnaround on them might be fairly good. I think I only recruited around 3 people for GottaDeal, if I had flyers there would have been a TON more.

I would have handed out lots of flyers :g_laughin

  7. Take it easy on the guy, he's obviously under the impression that he's psychic and knows exactly what every one of those people will be doing with all of their BF loot because he read their minds. :insane::sidesplit

That was exactly my impression :lmao:

  8. I took my son with me (he's 3) he was bundled up and made sure he didn't get trampled :). Other than that I agree on the cutting..the line was about 600 deep at the walmart here and about 30 minutes before the store opened people were getting out of their cars and standing over to the side like they were going to merge. I mean like a crowd of 50..wasn't going to happen..then they get mad because they are getting yelled at to get to the back of the line..the nerve of some people :) all in good fun though..you can always expect for some people to think they are in a bigger hurry than everyone else.
  9. Economically challenged is a term used for people that don't understand you have to work for a living! Not that they work their tails off for minimums. Your right it's all about the excitement of the kids when they wake up however you don't know what area I live in and the difference BF was vs. normal business days.

Let me ask you this. Would you be praising me for stuffing 4 xbox 360's in layaway?

I generally don't make it my business to look to see what everyone else is putting on layaway. Who cares what someone puts on layaway and why ? It isn't your business.
