Gosh, that's funny. Mine had a lot of boys stuff for $4.99 as well, but I was so excited for the girls' $2.99 stuff that I didn't do too much looking. Our outlet is HUGE. They just put in a new one, and it's probably 10 times the size of the old one.

If anyone lives near a CP outlet, they have awesome deals going on right now. Half of the big girl's dept. is $2.99. They just put out some 2 pc bathing suits at $.99 - with tons of sizes. Their shoes were picked over, but tons of fall stuff at $2.99.

I live close to 3 Targets. Two of them have absolutely nothing I want, but the 3rd one has like 2 aisles of stuff, including the train tables which are currently at 50% off, waiting and hoping they go to 75% off next week and I can snag one for $20. So it can really vary depending on individual stores.

I'm pretty sure these are not supposed to ever be put on the shelves as they are the ones that are sold in the food area. (10 packs are to go to the food area and are sold for $.69 each juice box.....15 packs are to go on the shelves). I'm so surprised Corp. hasn't figured it out and put the kabosh on it. One of the Targets I go to has NEVER had them, and one of them had them one time. I think it's a stocking error. Maybe we should stop talking about it before they figure it out. ;o)

I bought an extra one for potential birthday gifts. Wish you lived near me. The age on it says for 1st and 2nd grade, so your 9 year old might be bored. I turned it on and wondered if my 7 1/2 year old would be too bored with it by next Christmas.

The stores here in Michigan do not do the extra % off anymore either. We must be dumb, because the ads say something along the lines of "we figure it out for you."

I agree about Target and their coupon issue. I just never know if they will accept them, how much I have to argue, etc. I'm beginning to think maybe it's not worth it either, because they are so inconsistent. This is a great example....I had coupons and Targets coupons say "1 item per coupon." So I had several of the same coupon with the correct number of products and they call a manager over because the register is not accepting them for some reason and she tells me I can't use them because it's only 1 item per coupon. So I have to irritate all of the people behind me to point out in my best "try to explain to a Kindergartner voice" here is ONE box of mac n cheese and here is ONE coupon. And she still argued with me, but then got annoyed and entered in all of the coupons manually. It's not so much the arguing with the employees that makes me want to forget it, it's the number of people behind me in line that I've annoyed that makes me want to forget it. But then I will bring a pile and get a cashier that boom, boom, boom takes everything, so Target gets me back.

Ditto that from me! I did so well when the worker from Old Navy gave us the heads up on Clearance. I would love to get the heads up from a Target employee.

Those $.97 price kills are up to the individual store managers, so I've been told. I have two Old Navy's each about 15 minutes away, and one price killed everyting down to $.97 or $1.97 and the other one is being too stubborn (although they had a ton more clearance than the 1st one).

Does anyone actually leave Target without spending $50 to $100 a pop each time? Ha Ha. I have three Targets within 15 minutes of me, and it's happened at two different ones. I know I've seen your post....I'll have to hunt it down. I was thinking about asking to speak to the supervisor, but unfortunately, one time the cashier was a supervisor in training and highly rude, so I just didn't get into it with her.

I know this is not really the ideal forum for this question, but it's popular, so I was hoping to get some response. LOL. Has anyone been having problems (besides me) with cashiers that won't take both a Target coupon and manufacturer's coupon on one item? I used to be able to use both, and have had two different cashiers tell me NOPE, only 1 coupon per item. And now I noticed that the Target coupons you get in the mailers have that printed on them. Is anyone else's Target cracking down?

Was at Target in Rochester Hills this a.m. and they have the Fly Pentop Computer & Charger on clearance from 124.99 to $87 & change. Of course, there were boxes of just the pen for $99 & boxes with just the charger for $29.99 sitting right next to them, so a good deal if you have kids of appropriate age for this.
