I think I'm going to bring the harddrive into work and beg the IT department to take a look at it.

Negative...just a blank/black screen when I try to boot up.

Well to be honest, I'm not sure. I've had a couple of messages that refer to memory full and before I could do something about it the whole screen went black. My computer will boot up now; but the screen will not come on. I dunno...forgive me for my ignorance. :)

I've got a Dell Dimension L Series (L667R) that is about 5 years old that needs a memory upgrade. I'm puter' illiterate so....any help would be appreciated. :)
