I too am not impressed with the ads, so much so, that this will be the first year I will not be going. I have been going out on Black Friday for the last 10 years. It was always one of my favorite days, shopping 12-15 hours that day. This year I think I am going to spend some time with my family and do a little shopping each weekend. Hopefully, the sales will get better after Black Friday!

I bought it last night at Toys R Us for $29.99. I too was looking online and saw that they were sold out everywhere. My daughter's got Dream Life last Christmas. They love it and still play it frequently. The guy at Toys R Us said that he had sold 15 of them by 2:00 in the afternoon. I think you will really have to fight for them on Black Friday. Good Luck!

We have an Ulta and last year I got great makeup cases for $19.99. I got one for each of my daughters and they loved it. I do too. This year I think I will pick up one for myself. Can anyone recommend a good hair straightener or what brands to look for? I am looking for one this year. I bought my daughter the clairol one last year, but it doesn't work that good.

Every year, I buy a bunch of newpapers because they always have coupons for $10.00. There are some exclusions and your purchase must total $10.00 or more. When you combine these with sales you can leave the store with a bunch of stuff paying little or nothing for your purchases. The only thing that can be a pain is that most cashiers will only accept 1 coupon per person, so you will have to get back in line for each purchase unless you find a really nice one like I did last year. I am looking for an ipod this year for DD who is turning 13 this year. I go out every BF but try to stay away from Best Buy since I value at least a few hours sleep the night before. Does any know if any of the stores offer the sale prices on their websites? With any luck someone other than Best Buy will have a deal on one this year!
