My daughter saw a certain barbie with some type of gem or birthstone at Kroger when we were out of state, we have none nearby and that is the barbie she is now wanting for Christmas and I have no idea what it is called or where else I can find it. Help! It was a standard Barbie box only the width of the barbie if that helps any. Thanks!

My two are in PreK and 3rd grade and I wanted to do something personal for them from my children so I used the picture I took of my child with their teacher on the first day of school and had a picture ornament made with the year and my child's name on the back. :) For their bus driver whom I adore I used a picture of my children running off the bus! She is going to flip over it I just know! :) Last year I gave little evergreen Christmas trees (like 8 inches tall) that were in a pot and decorated from Lowe's they LOVED those! Hope I can find them again!

Santa wraps everything here that can be wrapped! Actually, I figured my oldest daughter (now 7) would find the "Santa" wrapping paper so I started telling her very early on that Mommy gets to stay up Christmas Eve and help Santa wrap! LOL She remembers every year which is good in case she should happen to come out when Mommy is putting them under the tree I can just say I finished wrapping! :)

Thank you Brad!!

My step-MIL got me a HUGE pair of overalls one Christmas when I was pregnant with my first DD, I think I was 4 months at the time? OMG! They were HUGE and no, not maternity, they were like farmer-type overalls and so not me! Those things wouldn't have fit if I gained 200lbs! I'm still pissed about that! LOL Oh, and of course my husband got something really wonderful (don't recall what it was) but I got overalls! It was so tempting not to regift them to her the next year.

The nursery painted! :) I'm due 2/8 and the nursery still hasn't been touched! Mind you she will room with us for a few months anyway but still...I want it done! Not that I know what colors/theme I want but come on! let's get some primer on the walls anyway! This is our 3rd little girl so the room is already purple but I am wanting something different!
Other than that no real requests. It's a tight year and I just want to put it towards the kiddos. I wouldn't mind a new mp3 player but I'm easy and would want one of those that are going to be $9.99 on "Blue" Friday at Kmart! LOL That is the style I have already and I like it, I'm just so rough on it so I wouldn't want anything expensive!
-
We put ours up the weekend after Turkey Day and the last few years they have came down Christmas Day! LOL With two kids running around, two trees take up a lot of space especially when there are lots of new toys involved!
-
We haven't really made lists yet my DD7 hasn't even really mentioned wanting much suprisingly and the things she has said have just been while the commercial is on so those don't count because she more than likely forgets about them within a few minutes. Haha
DD3 (soon-to-be 4yrs on 12/3!)
-pink fuzzy slippers
-play-doh ice cream parlor
-zhu zhu hamsters (got them!)
DD7
-?? I'm sure she'll want a zhu zhu so I picked her up one as well!
-
My soon-to-be 4yr old wants pink fuzzy slippers for Christmas! My other DD7 got a pair of purple fuzzy ones last year and DD3 is still peeved she didn't get a pair of her own slippers so it is at the top of her list this year!

I live in a town of about 70,000 people and at 5:30am last year the line wrapped all the way around the BACK of the store! I kept driving!
-
I think we are going to use a picture I took of my daughter and her Kindergarten teacher and put it on an ornament with the year on it. :)
-
I'm trying to find a school themed ornament (preferably with year 2007 on it) for her Christmas ornament this year since it is her first year of school. Any ideas on where I can find one? All I'm finding are school buses and she does not ride the bus.

I didn't get a Sunday paper but went to Target this morning and they gave me one. Saved $10 on the Digital Art Studio! VERY good deal for me!
-
And most importantly their bathrooms are always nice and clean! My dd who will soon be 2 is potty training and I don't mind one bit brigning her into our Target bathroom because it is always nice and sparkly clean, WM on the otherhand she is to touch NOTHING!! It is so gross and needs to be disinfected from floor to ceiling. YUCK!

My girls are 5 and my youngest will be 2 by Christmas. We do all presents from Santa and then last year I started doing a book and craft basket for my older daughter from mom and dad. They do get matching PJs on Christmas Eve as well from us. EVERYTHING at my house is wrapped unless it is something that would take a long time to put together, like a dollhouse with all the accessories, a play kitchen, those things. This year the only presents that will not be wrapped will be bean bag chairs and those big cardboard brick looking blocks.
-
Walmart has the Rebel XT right now for $599.
-
Woohoo! My DH was wanting the 90amp Chicago Electric Wire Welder that is normally $149 and it will be $88!
-
Does your child(ren) recieve more presents from you or from Santa? Is there a set # of Santa gifts or parent gifts? Does Santa bring the most wanted of presents or do you give those?
In the past few years it didn't matter at all because DD4 was too little to even think about asking who gave what so all presents under the tree were hers. She didn't care who they came from. :) This year I'm sure she'll notice how many presents Santa gave vs. us. Or who gave her what, ya know?
-
There is one here in Texarkana, TX as well. :)
-
I did this for two years until I started seeing all the higher priced items. We started when my daughter was born and decided we'd buy for a child her age every year but those first two years we saw many, many 1-2 yr old angels requested Power Wheels, Trampolines and even Playstations. These were not things that 1-2 year olds "want". Their parents did. I instead bought something age appropriate that the child would enjoy playing with.
