I have been so disappointed with some of the shirts & hoodies I bought this year at ON. I bought the fleece hoodie (with fur) and the sleeves shrunk like crazy, despite my diligence with hanging dry w/light tumble. Also, the tshirts aren't great quality either. I picked up a few last month and I'll be happy to get 2 more months out out of them. OTH, my daughter & husband's ON clothes have held up very well! :) -
oh wow--too cool! always wondered who won that stuff..thanks for posting the links! :)

We had an older model, FGBD2432KF, and didn't have it long at all. (there is also bad reviews on this particular model on epinions). FWIW--epinions doesn't rate too many of the Frigidaire dishwashers very good. There has been similar complaints with the control panel blowing out & the washing not being up to snuff. My old Frigidare dishwasher also never got our dishes clean either. We got an awesome deal on a Kenmore Elite, which we have had now for about 2.5 years. It cleans so well! (At the time, Consumer Reports rated the Kenmore Elite one of the top brands.) Anyway, based on my experiences with the customer service and the Frigidare quality on the models we purchased, I will never buy a Frigidare again lol. http://www.epinions.com/search/sec_~product_search_results/submitted_form_~searchbar/search_vertical_~all/tax_name_~/pp_~2?search_string=Frigidaire+dishwasherThe customer service was TERRIBLE. Hopefully the newer model will be great. I don't see any reviews at all about the current model.

Frigidaire Gallery Stainless Steel 24 in. Built-In Dishwasher ENERGY STAR Item # 02215303000 - if link doesn't work, seach by item # Now $299.99 Was $539.99 You Pay $293.99 w/$7 off $70 Code (BUT I do suggest finding something small so you can use the $25 off $300 code instead) Choose In-Store Pick Up, where available - btw, my area shows in stock in 5-7 days OK, gotta warn you buys about the Frigidare dishwasher--I had one & it was TERRIBLE! We only owned it for 1 year & the console completely blew out. Also, had bad luck with a Frigidaire convection oven too....it wasn't cooking our food at the right temp. Luckily it was under warranty, the repair guy had to order a new part & it took about a month to come in (and get fixed!). Sorry if this is off-topic!! http://s.sears.com/is/image/Sears/02215303000-1?hei=180&wid=180&op_sharpen=1&qlt=75

Fisher Price Camera and other digital camera deals
Jillsky replied to Shoprgyrl's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
We LOVE our Vtech camera! We got a really good deal at Target last year (it came with the case too) and I opted to get that one, vs the Fisher Price camera. My daughter still plays with it all the time. It has a edit function where she can put on funny faces, horns, smiley faces etc on her pictures. This has been one of the best XMAS presents we ever purcharsed! BTW--I heard Fisher Price has a crappy camera. I don't personally own one so perhaps others can jump in & give you their take on it. I have talked to quite a few moms that loath it though, not to mention--I see to recall when I checked the reviews on it last year everyone said to stay away. -
Cusinart or Kitchen Aid Food Processor
Jillsky replied to Jillsky's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Well, since I found a good deal at Macy's (I had a coupon + they sent me a gift certificate to use w/ my Macy's card) I got the 14 cup Cusinart. I really need the bigger one--I was concerned with some of the reviews on the KA not handling chopping veggies/cheese very good if the bowl was over 1/2 full. So, since I already had a Cusinart, & this particular model (DFP-14BCHN) is very similar to my 7 cup older one, I decided to go for it. I know I'll see it on sale on Black Friday (I can't wait that long LOL) but at this time, I think getting it for $183 (including tax) is a pretty good deal! :) Thanks for your comment! I'm really looking forward to making bread in it--all the reviewers pointed out the 14cup Cusinart is awesome for making dough. -
Hi there, I'm looking for any deal on 7 or 9 cup food processors. I saw the KA 7 cup one going for $89.00 on Amazon. Has anyone seen any better deals? Also--what are your thoughts about getting the 7 cup, vs 9 cup one? I'm kinda torn....I'm thinking I'll probably not need the 9 cup since we have a small family. Then again, I can think of a few occassions I made some soup & the 7 cup was way too small. Any thoughts on which brand is better? Thanks,

Refurbished iPod Nano : 4GB $129, 8GB $149, 1G Shuffle $49
Jillsky replied to jsmst35's topic in Online Hot Deals

My husband bought me a refurb nano awhile back & for some reason the buttons would get stuck. We didn't have a warranty. (This was the older, smaller one -without the movies- not sure which model it was?) Anyway, he ended up getting me a new IPOD nano for xmas. I guess he was sick of me complaining about the other one LOL. :) IMO getting a refurb directly from Apple (believe we got ours from Amazon?) is a much better option. If something goes wrong you can simply bring it into any Apple store for an exchange right? -
Burr or blade coffee grinder $9.95 @ coffeeroasting.com
Jillsky replied to shanni's topic in Online Hot Deals
That sucks! FYI--I use "Sweet Marias" for my beans. You might want to give them a try? Also, if you go on coffeegeek they'll have some good, reputable companies they can recommend. As I am roasting a batch now (which is now taking about 40 minutes!) I can honestly say this crappy roaster is on it's last leg. Do not use this company folks. -

I got the Burr grinder which does not grind fine enough for my epresso machine. Actually, it barely even works! (I actually have a Ranchillo Rocky Doserless grinder but need one for travel--I'm a coffeegeek lol!) I have Zach & Dani's smokeless home roaster too. It keeps breaking and the customer service for that company has a lot to be desired. :(They don't answer my emails & the girl who works the phone is not service oriented. -

OK, I rec'd the "free" grinder & just wanted to forwarn everyone NOT to buy one...it's junk! Also, wanted to echo what a previous poster said about not using a blade grinder. You really need a good quality Burr grinder, especially if you need it for a espresso machine! -
Your awesome OP! Very good advice. I just LOVE Kohl's. I stocked up on a bunch of fisher price toys when they had the sale AND got another 20% off from my credit card (it was the peel on one on the flyer). I'm set for xmas gifts for the kids. The toys were plentiful & I got them super cheap. Sales people are very friendly too. I remember when they first opened the Kohl's near me & they hunted down a very HTF St. NSt. Nicholas Square village house. (I love the that collection!)

I went to Nordstrom Rack. They had Joe's Jeans (cig skinny fit) for $49. My sister got there a few minutes b4 they opened & snagged me a pair. Good thing, by the time I got there at 7:05, all the good jeans in my size were picked over. They still have plenty of size waist 30inch and up though. I did pick up a pair of Diesels for my for $49 for hubby. He is happy! :-)
