When I worked for the post office I was a sub and I did get cards, cookies, gift cards and cash. We were told not to take cash gifts or anything of monetary value, such as gift cards etc. We had even heard of them spying on us by having "customers" leave things in the mailbox just to see if we would accept them. I feel we should have been able to accept whatever was given because we worked hard all year long and not just during the Christmas season. If the customer offered it, then they must have felt that it was deserved.

ok I called today twice today and this is what I was told: 1st call, I asked about the holiday merchandise, and yes, it is decorations, etc. Ok good. 2nd call, (because I forget to ask during the 1st one) I was told that they will NOT be price adjusting on Thurs, Fri, or Sat of this week.
There goes that idea!I've got the email that I posted above and I'm taking it with me on Thursday and if they won't price adjust, I just won't get it. I'm not paying $699.99 for a 32".

Yes, our policy is as long as the purchase is made with in 30 days before the start date of a sale a price adjustment can be made. At time of purchase ask the Kmart associate to complete the adjustment.
Look for great bargains throughout the store and find Kmart exclusive brands like Martha Stewart Everyday, Thalia Sodi, Joe Boxer, Route 66 and Jaclyn Smith.

Well I've decided that if they don't want to adjust their own prices, I'll just return/rebuy unless they try to pull that crap that Target does and not let you buy the item right back even though it has never even left the store. If the they try to pull that then they can have it!

I talked to the manager the other day and she told me they only had 3 Zunes and she was pulling those from the display case as we talked. So my advise to those that want one is to get there early as they may not be getting more just for the Bf sale. They most likely will only have whats currently in there inventory now unless they do get a special shipment in.

Remember layaway doesnt open until 9am and 11am at some stores.
My store's layaway doesn't open til 11am. So does anyone think there will be any problems because of this? I'm just worried that they'll say that since they only had limited amounts, they won't price adjust. I'm still going in for the sale so I may just try to buy one just to be on the safe side.

I just got back from putting the 32' Olevia LCD TV on layaway. Since it's within the 7 day window of price matching, they'll price match it for the TG day sale. I had to go to 4 different stores before finding one that had 6 in stock. Call before you go so you don't drive around all day like I did.
I put mine on layaway yesterday. They only had 16 in stock. I hope that they do honor the price adjustment next Thursday. Does the item have to be in stock to be price adjusted? My layaway dept doesn't open til 11am and I don't to be told I can't get the adjustment just because they open late.

I've been running around trying to find the Digi Makeover system. They were on the shelves in abundance a month ago. Just when I had given up hope. I go into Walmart and check the usual spot and there was one just sitting there.
Boy was I happy. My shopping is now finally done.

I got 10 for the different little ones.
I have one left that is supposed to be for my son.
But I already had to put in new batteries.
My kid would never know, as he is almost 36, but
he did see me playing with it and asked what it was
so I showed him. Makes me think he would like
to have one.

My 7 year old daugther wants one for her birthday coming up in December, but when I went looking at them today they are awfully small especially for $29.99
at TRU. Are there any cheaper or anyone have them on sale? I just cant bring myself to pay that much for one of these things!Thanks!
TRU also sells the I-Flower. I bought one for my daughter and it was $9.99. It was about 3 days after BF. They were on a shelf right by the Idogs. The come in Pink, Pearl and Blue. They are not made my Tiger, but they light up just like them.

I have 800 and they only have to be added to your account by 12-31-07 and they don't have an expiration date from the way I understand it or at least mine don't show an expiration date after I added mine to my account.

Well that is odd cause I was at Walmart yesterday asking about the classic controller and they said all their Wii stuff is in the back for the 6th and I said I didn't want the Wii, I have one, I just want a controller and they said they still had to save it for the 6th. This whole saving Wii's and controllers for a certain date is BS. Needless to say I will not be Christmas shopping at Walmart now.
I can sort of understand holding some of them in back for the day they put the systems out, but on release day they should all be put out on the shelves and not be behind the counter "just for people purchasing the system". They are already guaranteed a system if they have a ticket but the extra controllers should be first come, first served.

I got to my Target right at 8:00 this morning. I didn't need the system just the extra controllers. I go to the back and they had all the remote behind the counter and when I explained to them that I only needed the controllers, they told me that the people buying the systems had first chance at them and that I needed to wait in line to see if there were any left. Needless to say there wasn't any left:mad:. I really don't think that was fair. The controllers were separate from the system and I also had a raincheck for them from the launch date and I still wasn't able to get them. I ended up going to Walmart for one and TRU for the other one. I'm glad I got what I needed, but I'm PO with the way Target handled things this morning.

The one I was at couldn't find them either. They knew they were suppose to get 5 so they handed out 5 rain checks. I got the call Saturday morning that they came in. Picked it up Saturday afternoon. Still had the $348.00 price tag on it .. sweet.
Was it an Emachines computer? If so what was the model #? I saw one, and it had the $348 tag on it, but rang up $348:(

My son went to two Walmarts here and neither one knew about the computer. He even showed them the printout of the ad, but left both stores with NO computer.
I wonder if they will issue rainchecks or would a call to corp be in order. They never showed up at mine:gdangry4:

Can anyone please tell me what brand and model # theirs were? Our store manager couldn't find ours. Today I went in and saw a Emachines model without the monitor that rang up $348 and I'm wondering if this was one of the ones they couldn't find.

I bought two of these and they do play YOUR music through it's speakers. The Idog Pups have the 12 songs and nowhere to hook up your mp3.

The managers were idiots at our walmart. They posted two overhead signs that said "line up here" and proceeded to hand out most of the coupons for the secret items at the OTHER line. Of course, I was at the 2nd line so they didn't have any RCA TVs or $148 computers. And their excuse for giving all of the coupons away already? "We couldn't get over here because of all of the people." Idiots.
At least your WM had the $148 computers. NO ONE including the store manager knew where they were:gdangry4: Everyone kept saying the were in groceries, but those were the $398 ones. I went back when I got off work and no one had found them yet, or so they say. They told my friend that they were over in groceries, but I suspect that "someone else" got their hands on them.

Update. I was in the same Walmart again tonight and what did I see? The same I-Dogs they wouldn't allow me to purchase last night and this time they were on the shelf with the $10 tag right under them!!! I couldn't believe it. I again grabbed 2 and headed to the scanner. The see associate thing came up again and I asked for a manager. I told the manager what had happened just last night and how I wasn't allowed to purchase these, but now they're back on the shelf w/the price tag. All she could say was that some employees didn't know they shouldn't have been out there and that they couldn't sale them. I am totally upset and will be calling and emailing corporate in the morning to discuss this matter.
Update: I was in the same Walmart again today and saw 1 of the I-dogs on the shelf again, but this time I also saw the 24in Bratz doll on the shelf too. I picked up one of each and scanned them. They came up "See associate for help". I asked someone to call the STORE MANAGER. He came over and I explained to him about the last two times I was in the store and found blitz items on the floor. He told me that they were not allowed to sell them, but he took my name and my items and told me that he would hold them for me til Friday evening!! So that means I don't have to rush to Walmart Friday morning to get those items
I'm happy with the solution he proposed as others just acted like they didn't care. Now I can concentrate on getting more stuff:cheesy:
