  1. They may just be saying that you can only have one rebate from Scandisk per household, not one rebate from Office Depot. Did you try to call the number on the postcard/letter that they sent you? I think that they just send out the postcards saying that they are not valid figuring that most people won't call & dispute it. Every time that I have called they just say OK and process the rebate. If the camera is "still processing" on the website then it's probably still OK, it would say something like "not valid" if they weren't going to send it.
  2. Thanks both of you, I was a little worried about problems but am not anymore. My printer is being repaired so I cannot print out one of my certificates until I get my printer back. I wonder if they run this promotion every month (50% off)? I guess we'll be trying some new restaurants...
  3. Here's a new code for February, I'm not sure when it expires: Use code 54894 to save 50%. Has anyone used their certificates yet? I bought 2 but have not used them yet.
  4. I think that Rachel Ray uses one on 30 Minute Meals on Food Network, maybe their website sells them or has a link to somewhere that does, but it would probably not be a great price.
  5. I think you should come over to my house & organize all my pictures! That's pretty good, I've been trying to organize my pictures for months... maybe if I didn't spend so much time on GottaDeal.com then I would have time to do it!
  6. That's exactly what I would do, try to return it first with the receipt and if that dosen't work then come back again without it. Walmart is still pretty good about returning things even without a receipt but I think that they only let you make a return once or twice a month without a receipt. Some stores won't let you return things anymore if you don't have a receipt. Target gave me a hard time about exchanging something without a receipt, they tried to look up the sale on my debit card and then with my checking account and they couldn't find it, and I said to the lady that I didn't want money back I just got the wrong socks for my husband and she told me that she would do it this time but I couldn't return or exchange anything without a receipt there for a long time (whatever that means). All for a pack of socks!
  7. Does anybody know if you can use that code if you've already bought checks from them in the past or is it only for new customers?
  8. I have a son graduating HS this May and we are thinking about getting him a laptop for a graduation present & for college. Why should we get him a dell? I don't know too much about laptops and would appreciate any advice I can get!
  9. I was wondering the same thing...
  10. Thanks for the info, I went back and signed everyone in my house up. Maybe now we can afford for the whole family to go to the movies more often!
  11. Thanks! I'll have to tell all the neighbors for our next girls night out.
  12. Mmmmmmm! Soup & fresh baked bread is my favorite meal.
  13. I'm still waiting for all 3: $25 from Circuit City, $10 from Office Max (which are both still "scheduled for final processing") and $30 from Mintek/Kohls. They all went in the mail the next day. I ALWAYS make copies of everything that I send in for rebates and I have occasionally gotten a postcard that says that I didn't qualify because this or that... but if you call the 1-800 number on the postcard and say "yes I bought it during the qualifying period" or "I did send the correct UPC code in" and they usually take care of it over the phone right away without having to send anything else in. A few years ago we accidentally threw out a TV with DVD box with the UPC and I called Best Buy rebates and they said that it was OK, and to go in to the store and have them hand-write a UPC on Best Buy letterhead and that they would accept it but when I mailed it in they didn't accept it and we didn't get our rebate. I should have gotten the name of who I spoke to. So that taught me to always send in the rebates on the same or next day!
  14. the code WK1HOME took off 10% (50 cents) so it's down to $4.49. I just wish I could find one for free shipping without having to spend $49. The code is from the catalog I got in the mail today and it says: Take 10% off catalog/internet regular & sale priced bedding, bath, decorative accessories, window coverings & rugs now through Feb. 8.
  15. thanks! now it's a really great deal for only $4.99
  16. I got all my wavy/zigzag... scissors for like 99 cents each. Sometimes Michaels has them on sale and if you live near a Michaels store you should check their schedule for a scrapbook day/event, that's how I got started. The store by my house has something on Feb. 26 (it does cost $10 but sometimes they have free ones). They also have a couple nights a month where you can go there & bring your own paper & pictures & stickers and use all their supplies for $5 (paper cutters & punches...). I do it once in a while because you can try the tools before you buy them (or use them because you don't have them) and it's nice to get out of the house without any kids for 4 hours and work on my scrapbook pages uninterrupted! I also get ideas just from looking at the scrapbook section and all the different papers at the craft stores. And it's really easy to go overboard on buying all the stuff but it isn't necessary. I started with a clearance scrapbook album (under $5), some papers, stickers, regular scissors and my kids glue stick and it turned out pretty nice! If you look at the ideas that come with the kit that will also get you started. I'm pretty sure that I've seen those scissors at Walmart & Target and all craft stores carry them. And don't forget the dollar store, the one by my house has some pretty neat stickers (and they are the same brands that the craft stores sell and are acid free whatever that means) for only a dollar.
  17. Thanks bravesrule for combining all the offers and showing which ones are the best prices.
  18. It's VEEERRRRRRYYYYYY addicting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. that's pretty stupid if that's how they do it!
  20. The 2 scrapbook kits are both really nice because they both have EVERYTHING that you would need to complete each scrapbook and it all matches and everything goes together which makes it much easier and you can't beat the price, if you had to buy everything separately you would spend a lot more. If you got both of those you would be able to do 2 scrapbooks and probably have a lot of the stickers... left over. And they both have idea guides and that will surely get your creative juices flowing, also Michaels.com has a lot of good page ideas too & a couple of times a year they have free scrapbooking events that will show you the new tools adn techniques that are out there. The Template & Punch Kit w/Punching Tool & Pad is also pretty neat. Hope this helps! And I agree that Creative Memories has a lot of neat things but you can get them much cheaper when Hobby Lobby has their 50% off scrapbooking sales and Joanne Fabrics has the stuff on sale and Michaels has sales and their 40% off coupons and Walmart carries a lot of scrapbooking stuff now. And the quality is just as good as Creative Memories just not as expensive.
  21. Thanks for the post!!! I LOVE Staples deals! Unfortunately I had to call customer service AGAIN and have them remove the delivery charges, one of these days it will work correctly...
  22. Thanks to all that contributed to this post!!! I just ordered 50 4x6 from Winkflash for 99cents and 25 4x6, 2 5x7 and 8 8x10 from Shutterfly for $2.49. My printer is being repaired so I haven't been able to scrapbook all my Christmas pictures or finish the 2006 calendar that I started. Thanks!!!
  23. They're now showing up for $1.75 and it's showing that all 3 colors are available??? Shipping is still free.
