  1. Considering that all Kenmore washer and dryers are LG at the moment....just get a LG set if you want Kenmore. Sears seems desperate for business. They keep giving me all these points to get back in the store. I just bought appliances for my house. After points, I got a Kenmore dishwasher for 75% off after I applied my points. Then, just from buying the dishwasher, I magically accumulated enough points to buy a shed for $50. I can see why they cannot get out of the red now.
  2. If you don't mind "refurbished" then buy it at apple.com and save $50. I bought my wife one; its a 2G but remember that it could be brand new b/c 3G came out and they sold the 2G as refurbished even though they are brand new.

Isn't the 2G 8GB same as the 3G 8GB? That is what I thought also.I agree... just save the trip an order it from apple.com. There is free shipping. If I remember correctly, the 2G and 3G are not different until you get to the 32GB version. All refurbished means is that someone bought it and returned it. In some cases, they simply called new ones refurbished because the they do not want to put their older ones "on sale".

  3. Should I even bother? I just want to see what the Sony Outlet store has. I want to get a Sony W230 digital camera (or the W290). Do not care if it is refurbished. Last year they had refurbished GPSes at really low prices (like around $90). At that time, though, i already had a garmin Nuvi.
  4. anyones office depots forming lines yet? lol may be a stupid question but figured i'd ask since i'm sure all best buys have some sort of line at this point

LOL....the OD in Framingham, MA actually has a bigger line than BB.....

  5. Looks like a DIMM and SODIMM....but it really is not that great of a price. It's good (crucial's price), but not worth camping out for. I think Best Buy actuallyhas a batter deal....that said...Microcenter has a better deal (11.99).
  6. I went to a staples last year for BF and got there at 3:30am. My friend and I were the 4th and 5th people in line. Our area is pretty populous (e.g. the BB had a line to the corner of the building by dinner time Thanksgiving night). I can't imagine that OD would be much different than staples...

No idea about if they have a ticket system or not, it may depend on the store.

Yeah, I lived in a pretty popular area....OD had a line of 2 people 2 years ago.

  7. I was wondering the same thing.

The one in Cambridge was bad one year, but not bad the other.

2 years ago, it was sort of bad bad, but they had plenty of door busters....people lined up at around 1 AM, which actually is not bad at all....

Last year was horrible. 7PM on thanksgiving. I did not bother b/c I had no money at the time.

I guess it depends on whether the college students stay or not.

  8. On the postcard I received from them yesterday it had the same info you posted on one side & on the other side:

  9. I was just in Justice (Alabama) tonight and the whole store was Buy One Get One Free (even clearance and Webkinz). The sale was going off tonight but the sales girl told me they would be doing it on Black Friday again.

This The Limited also? thathot is a pretty deal. MY gf needs some work pants.

  10. Does anyone know if you buy an item the week of thanksgiving, then that item will have a gift card with purchase for the 2 day sale, can you get the gift card like you can the price adjustment?

that is considered a bundle. You cannot match bundles to a "dollar value".

  11. companies like Apple and Bose have fixed pricing. That means an authorized retailer cannot undercut the price of another retailer on their goods without permission. Infact, they even need permission to bundle also (free gift cards....use of coupons...etc). This even holds true for clearence.
  12. MY gf bought a CHI...she did not hate it, but it was not as good as she thought it would be. She spent $200 on it too.

I got her one from Sedu (cost $150) 2 years ago for Christmas. She ended up just selling the CHI for next to nothing ($50???).

I always found folica to have the best prices....plus they send you coupons too.
